This is my fourth time receiving a treatment from Ana, and I must say my favorite to date. I chose the Sea of Life Facial which uses OSEA products, which are vegan, nontoxic and entirely marine-based. This is a brand-new facial, and Storey Skin is the first and only studio in SF to feature OSEA. Let me just say, this facial is the bomb! Two weeks later and my skin still looks amazing ... clear, supple and glowing. Ana analyzed the current state of my skin and customized my facial to address the lack of hydration with an amazing seaweed mask. She also gently rubbed a Gua Sha tool over my skin to help increase its circulation and promote relaxation. I enjoyed the facial so much, I brought home OSEA's Ocean Cleanser to use on a daily basis. Ana, is a skin god!!! As a guy, I dont know much about skin and I dont really have any sort of skin regimen. I'm starting to get up their in age and felt like I should start to take better care of my skin. A friend referred me to Ana and she was able to accommodate a appointment same week for me. I had no clue what to expect or what do ask for. She examined my skin and then went to work. The whole experience was super relaxing and the oxygen facial felt amazing! I left the appointment feeling like a million bucks and my skin was literally glowing. Get wedding ready! Per Ana's advice, I saw her once a month for 3 months before my wedding to make sure that I was camera ready for my big day. The whole experience was so pleasing and I looked forward to seeing her after work on Mondays (convenient!) as a chance to let the day melt away, de-stress and get glowing skin. The studio is so comforting and the right temperature, clean and inviting. Smells amazing. The treatment from start to finish is enjoyable right down to the custom playlist, lightly playing in the background and the foot and hand massages. I've never had facials before this and now I'm hooked. Ana listens to you skin story and gives recommendations to maintain the benefits of your facial at home. Her products all smell amazing and work great. I did not experience any irritation after the appointments and even found myself choosing not to wear makeup for a few days after the treatment I felt so good. :) I appreciated too that when I was in a chatty mood, she would chat with me but when I wanted to be still and relax in the soothing space, she was respectful of that. I am visiting San Francisco and here for my husband's work trip. My husband is at his meetings from morning until dinner time. I was looking for something to do and came across storey skin studio and turns out it's just a block away from JW Marriott hotel. I booked my appointment the day before and they sent me an automated text message reminding me of my appointment. I went up to the ninth floor and was immediately greeted by Ana who was my aesthetician. I love how personalized the treatment was and she chatted with me not just about skin but life. It was like a mini therapy for the mind, soul, and skin. Ana was so welcoming and warm. The facial itself was amazing. She gave me tips on how to better take care of my skin. She even did the oxygen thing for me (so thankful). Oh and the massage was heavenly. I know it wasn't the star of the treatment but it was def great and you would wish it was longer because it was that good. The whole thing was so relaxing. The time flew by. Don't trust your skin to anyone else! Ana is an expert that will know exactly what your skin needs at any point in time. She knows right away and will recommend the products and services to apply to make you glow! She also shares so much knowledge for how to maintain your best skin ever, something you can't really buy or trust in at many places I've gone. The new studio is just lovely and makes you feel relaxed and pampered right as you walk in. The product lines are great, Ana is very dedicated to natural ingredients that won't harm your skin and body. She always knows what I need, her prices are very reasonable and I get results every time. Ana is amazing! She clearly knows a ton about skin and skincare. I got a wax this past weekend and I've always been a shaver. It didn't hurt the way I thought it would. I had an absolutely amazing facial with Ana! I loved all of the products she used, everything smelled wonderful and I didn't feel like she was putting toxic chemicals on my face. I don't know where to even begin when describing how gifted, knowledgeable, effective, and personable Ana is! She is a true artist at her craft and also extremely warm and caring. I started seeing Ana back in 2008 when I was in my mid-late 20's and having a major breakout. She never tries to sell me products but is happy to recommend products when I ask for recommendations and will recommend products whole-heartedly whether or not she carries them in her spa. Ana also knows a ton about dermatological treatments and has helped me to find the right medical treatments when I've needed them. Now for the facials! Ana's facials are 100% customized and the treatments she uses vary from visit to visit depending on the state of my skin. From microdermabrasion, to brightening peels, to calming masks, Anna's facials are multi-step and always address numerous concerns during each visit. One thing I especially love is that instead of using steam (which can encourage anaerobic bacteria growth) for extractions, Ana uses an oxygen gel to prep the skin, which makes extractions easy and less painful. I always add the serum infused oxygen treatment at the end of the facial too to calm my skin and help prevent post-facial breakouts. I've had facials in the past and always left the spa red and irritated...and also often broke out after. This NEVER happens with Ana's facials because of her customized & balanced facials, and her use of oxygen to kill bacteria. I also love that Ana only uses well-researched, high quality skincare products, and is always current on the latest advancements in skincare. Most recently Ana helped me prepare my skin for my July '16 wedding. I saw her every month for the 4 months leading up to my wedding and my skin was perfect on my wedding day....So much so that my makeup artist asked me what I do to keep my skin so bright and wrinkle free! She also helped me regrow and reshape my tortured eyebrows for the big day! I now get compliments on my brows too! I literally could go on and on.
