She explained why the rent increases happen. She then put in for a rate reduction back to what I was paying. She contacted me the next day that it was approved. Thank you so much!! I was going to have to start shopping other facilities if she couldn't have done anything. So thank you for saving me from moving. I wish extra space had a different policy for charging their units according to supply and demand and these rate increases would not happen for loyal customers who pay on time month after month.. I know you can lock in the rate by paying for months ahead, but who can afford to do that these days.

I called today to let them know that I will have the rest of my stuff out by tonight because I just got a new place and they were so willing to work with me. His wife prorated my rent so I wasn't paying for the whole month even know my stuff would have only been there 1 week. I would like to add my boyfriend told them a few days ago that we were moving out by the 10th so I didn't blind side them. I would advise being courteous and giving them a heads up. Raising rates multiple times a year, locking out units that are fully paid and up to date, terrible office hours, you name it they'll do it.

I don't think anyone on this planet drives by a storage facility and says, "wow, what an awesome place to spend money." I don't think anyone even cares about these types of businesses.......until they need one. I had some rather expensive furniture delivered before we were ready to put it in our house and I was suddenly in need of a place/. I went to THREE different places to find a unit to rent and I got the run around over and over. The final one was on 7th east right south of Sandy city self storage. There was a sign on the door they said 'be right back'. I, along with 2 other customers sat outside in the middle of the day for more than 20 minutes. No one came. I suddenly had visions of my high school prom date ghosting me after dinner...and became frustrated seeing as how this was the third go aground. I googled storage units near me and up popped sandy city storage. And it was just a couple blocks away. I pulled up and met a man named Bailey. He was friendly, fast, efficient and had me in and out within 10 minutes. Voila. Finished! When I came back a week later to load in the furniture, he again was there and helped me get situated, and was extremely helpful. Now, several months later, I went to check out and couldn't remember the process to get into my unit. He smiled and then helped me out again. It's like Thai guy loves his job. It's like he is super proud to work for such a great....albeit....boring company. Bailey was fantastic!!! A++ They are also very helpful, friendly, honest, very clean through-out the whole property, well lit with 24 hr cameras for safety. Also, the unit themselves speaks louder then words....really!! They are very nice, clean, kept up, secured, no leaks ( I know for sure because it started pouring when I was at my storage unit) and the size of unit are really nice and you also have 24 hr access to your unit!! Dollies are never by the loading area so you have to search all over for them. I was charged for a lock when I arrived and returned it immediately because I had my own. He did not reimburse me until 6 weeks after I cleared the storage, and only because I contacted Extra Storage through social media! DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!!!

He has stepped up personally to help a couple of times when I needed extra hands which is great . I highly recommend extra space storage especially at this location . The units are clean. The walkways are clean. The entire facility is nice and clean which is not always the case. The units are easily accessed, and there are sufficient dollies to help with the move. The units are also climate controlled which is a plus.
