The staff was patient with all our questions (and the fact that I didn't even know that I needed to have a hitch ball or power adapter for my van...). All of their work was very efficient while still being safe, and they let us hover over them while they were hooking up the car so we could learn how to do it. We made it all the way from Oklahoma to Virginia smoothly. We even un-hooked and re-hooked the car successfully one time along the way! We hope they would be proud of us. Most important note is that the staff here is competent, super nice, and also hilarious. We had such a good experience at the store. We loved them. We want to work here. It seems like there are a few less-than-ideal reviews based on staff members from 2020 and earlier. As we all know, lots of businesses have a had a lot of employee turnover since 2020. When we were here, it seemed like a few new employees were being trained, and everyone we spoke to was absolutely great. The worst service I have ever experienced. I made a reservation for a Budget moving truck a week in…read moreadvance. The reservation was listed under my name but I had put in my reservation that I was not the driver. I had put the driver's information into my reservation (name, driver's license number, expiration, etc.). We had a reservation to pick up at 9am, when the location opened. We were there at 8:52am. Location opened at 9:01. We did not receive service/acknowledgment until 9:42. There were two employees helping the one customer in front of me. When it came time for them to help us, they told us their system has been down for two weeks and were having to call the service line to rent out vehicles. I gave them all the info from my confirmation email to give to the service line. They then told me I had to pay $136 for insurance for the moving truck or else I couldn't rent the truck. This was not mentioned anywhere online when I made my reservation. I was also then told I would be charged $25 for an additional driver even though we only had one driver. They said cause I had the reservation under my name, but a different person selected to be the driver, that counts as an additional driver. He also said the company does not allow a reservation to be made under two different names (reservation name and driver name has to be the same). This also was not stated when I made the reservation online. When I questioned the man about why wasn't any of this stated online or why would the reservation be confirmed if "reservation name and driver name has to be the same" when that wasn't the case in my reservation, he simply said "The reservation is only to secure the vehicle you want. None of the other information matters". To which I replied, "Then why ask for all the other information like driver's license, expiration date, issue date, etc.?" Of course, he had no explanation. I was so fed up, I was actually looking at UHaul trucks as I was waiting for him to stop talking out of his ass. I highly recommend going with any other moving truck company before you choose Budget. Overall, I spent $200 more than what I was quoted in my reservation. I absolutely regret choosing them and I will never ever go with this company again. Spend the extra money on UHaul or even save money on UHaul.

He tells her that even though she has a reservation there are no cars available. My wife steps aside to call me and two guys come up to the desk with no reservation so he decide to give them a vehicle. When my wife confronts him about it he berates her and continues to talk down on her. So if you enjoy your spouse being disrespected and an attempt at stealing your money go here.
