If I could give zero stars I would... We came back home, after my husband was in the military for 14 years.The military moved all of our stiff from Colorado to Porterville Sierra self Storage. When we first got our two storage units we didn't have any problems. We were also always paying our rent on time. Just recently we came into a difficult finance situation and we became behind our storage sheds. I tried to make a payment online for my one month behind, I was unable to do so. So I called to ask if I could pay the one month I was behind and in 2 weeks pay the other 4 days that I was behind of the next month. I was advised that they do not make any kind of special payment arrangements. So my units are due to be sold in the next coming weeks, the lady in the front office that I talked to advised me that it would be best to pay off my most important storage unit first and then try to pay my second one before it gets auctioned off. I am in disbelief, Why won't they let me pay my one month and then in two weeks pay my other months that is only 4 days behind. I 100% absolutely do not recommend this storage unit company to anyone anymore. Unless you are 100% sure that anytime in the future you will not have any financial struggles. read more

My experience at Sierra Self Storage was an awesome experience.... I was short on cash so I did the look around, taking into account that I also needed to have enough money left over to rent a truck.... I called Sierra Self Storage after looking them up online and did not feel confident at all and felt the price would be way to high. I spoke to a lady on the phone by the name of Kendall and she basically handled everything on the phone, then notified me that I get a day to use their moving truck at no cost (WHAT!!) and told me when I was ready go in with my Id. I went in that day and the feeling I go was so overwhelming she was such a sweet heart and that feeling you want when you have to put your family stuff in a safe place other than home well she gave me that. I felt at home and safe knowing that all my kids stuff was in their storage. I scheduled my day for the truck and that day I went in I meet Debbie and really another sweet awesome woman I still felt at home and well taken care of. The storage units are very nice and clean great security and the price along with the staff AMAZING... Sierra Storage will always be a home for my items.. This is my first time renting out a storage and from first impression i can say that going to Sierra Self Storage was the best first choice i could have made. Immediately walking in i was greeted by Debbie. She was very welcoming, kind, attentive, and informative. I told i need a large storage, she told me my options and the best price she can give me. When we were beginning the paperwork she offered me water, coffee, popcorn, candy and gave me a tote bag for renting with them. I felt valued and part of the family. Did i mention they offer a move-in truck with 20 miles for free? No other storage company i know of offers these type of incentives for their clients. So far i am very pleased with my decision. O32. In moving I found myself returning to Sierra Self Storage and was surprised to have the option of borrowing their moving truck... Free!! This was definitely the best choice for a 2nd time and the staff is super friendly. I like there's a security gate which doesn't guarantee safety but it shows the owners are definitely interested in keeping my belongings safe. The facility is clean and well maintained and there's always someone available in the office. Making the reservation online was easy, which is how I found them when I moved to town a few yrs ago. I was able to get my storage unit with just a phone call and a friend who didn't mind picking up the keys while I was on the road. read more

This was my first experience of utilizing a storage facility, and was so pleased that I chose Sierra Self Storage. From the first contact that I had inquiring about a rental I was sold on Sierra Self Storage. I spoke with several staff technicians and each and every time they were so knowledgeable about their services and even extended a promotion they were currently having. As good as it gets is exactly how I feel when I think about the quality of service, and level of professionalism (yet friendly ) I receive as I set up my account or pay my bill in person. Although the app and/or online bill pay is convenient, when walking in the office to do it first hand service couldn't be better. Im always offered water, and popcorn with a smile and welcoming qesture. The facility itself is always well kept and clean as well as the units. My husband and I moved to California a couple days ago and reserved a spot with Sierra self storage before we got there. Debbie was the woman we did all the emails through and the person who helped us when we arrived. SUCH great customer service! Not only did we feel welcome but she went the extra mile with us- and I'm sure she does with everyone- She made us feel at ease and did everything for us! She was very pleasant and friendly and answered all my questions. The prices are great especially for the storage unit I choose which was a 5x10 unit, and the best part is I was looking for something available within the week and they had one available. Sierra self storage is the first storage unit that I have decided to rent. When I called I had a quite a few questions and Debbie answered them quickly and covered all of my Concerns. I have been using their service for 2 years. Everything is kept very clean and I have found no indication of furry friends in my items which is awesome!!!
