Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this laundromat. Our washer broke, so we needed a temporary option while waiting for a new one and decided to try this location. The facility wasn't very clean, and several of the machines appeared dirty inside. Despite posted signs, people were washing heavily soiled dog beds, and many machines had visible pet hair. The Apple Pay feature also didn't work on the machines I tried, which made things inconvenient. Most concerning, some of our clothes were damaged likely from leftover bleach in a machine, which points to a lack of proper maintenance and cleaning. I did end up finding another laundromat that was much cleaner and better maintained, so I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Best laundromat in town! The owner takes great care of it and we appreciate all the upgrades- Apple pay on the biggest washer in the area and some of the dryers. With that washer, I can wash and dry 10 loads in one hour! Ha! Anytime I don't have quarters or something jams, the owner always has an easy solution- square pay and easy fixes. One Saturday morning, my washing machine decides to break down in the middle of a large cycle. I happened to be washing a load of heavy towels and whites so I'm in a real jam when my washer breaks. It's not like I can simply hand wash it all. A desperate search on Yelp led me here and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! Plenty of machines available on a busy weekend morning. It is a smaller laundromat so it would've been nice to have a bit more space for social distancing. I can't speak for the prices since I haven't used this type of service since my college dorm days (circa 1999) but based on how there was a steady stream of people coming and going, I assume the prices are fairly competitive. I paid $6.25 for a load in the extra-large capacity washing machine. Can't speak for the dryer since I took my items home to dry. The best part was being able to keep an eye on my stuff from the parking lot - in the comfort of my car. All in all, not a bad experience or hassle. I expected a lot worse! read more

Moved back to CA after a while out of state. We moved into a home without a washer/dryer and can't afford one right now until our finances settle a bit. Meanwhile, Stop-N-Wash has been a solid go-to in the interim. I've been washing my everything here weekly. Solid selection of washers and dryers for every size of load. The owner has been around frequently doing maintenance and cleaning the place up and I haven't had a bad experience with another customer ever. Overall a really solid necessity in Livermore and the best laundromat I've experienced. Thanks for everything. Plus, touch-less pay is fantastic for the washers keeping me from having to load up on quarters, the dryers charge $0.25 at a time so you're better off just having some quarters for those. I love this laundry matt so much better then the other ones around town!! The machines are still relatively cheaper then other places and almost all of the machines have tap/card readers on them so if you forget cash your chilling!! Also the owner has upgraded a small amount of the washers/dryers so they have cool lil features to them. The owner is there most of the time so if you do need help you will most likely see him walking in and out, he's very friendly and talkative! read more

What's not to like if you need a place to do your laundry? They have regular washing machines for 2.50 a wash and regular dryers for 25 cents for five minutes. They also have jumbo washers and dryers which cost a bit more but worth it if you have blankets, comforters, or sleeping bags. You can sit on hard 1960's style plastic chairs and watch your clothes spin from 7AM to 12AM. read more

This place is well maintained, I typically don't see sketchy folk in here, I will say there are a few people who feel entitled to certain machines because they are there on a more regular basis, for me, if you haven't put money in the machine its not yours. I go maybe once or twice a month when I need to catch up on laundry, I'm actually switching gyms so I can do laundry and work out while I'm waiting because of this location! The large washers are $8 which some find too pricey but for me that's up to 3 weeks of laundry in one load so I'm not complaining, I dry everything in the largest dryer on med-high heat because it cuts down my dry time from 30+ mins on 2-3 regular dryers to 20-25 mins on one dryer which is also less work. Keep doing what you're doing boss. read more

It's a standard laundromat. The part that I liked the most is that they have huge washers (2) and dryers (1?). It took under $15 to wash and dry my king size down comforter. Stopped into this laundromat while traveling through the southwest as a full time van dweller. A worn but clean laundromat with three different sizes of front load washers to accommodate just about anything you might need to wash. I was able to fit my bedding sheets and 4 weeks worth of clothes (I know. That's a loooong time between clothes washings) into one large load (no worries, all darks and no whites). An entire row of traditional top load washers are available if you are old-school, a Boomer (I am), or for whatever reason you do not trust the front load washers. AND, I don't know for a fact that there are people out there who don't trust front load washers, and I make no judgement if there are, but if you are, there are top loaders for you too. You know who I'm talking about. On the way in, a gentlemen in his 1980's Ford Bronco with VERY worn faux furry seat covers that smelled of cigarette smoke stopped to ask me about my Hymer camper van. After one question about the van, he started to tell me about another galaxy encroaching upon ours (Milky Way) that will eat up ours (which I think is true in like a zillion zillion zillion years from now) and how our blue sky is not really a blue sky into space but a huge planet that dwarfs the earth. I listened respectfully, showing compassion, but knew I had extricate myself from the conversation. Just as I was thinking this my phone rang and showed spam caller on it. I answered and sure enough it was a robo call telling me that my social security number had been hacked and my social security benefits would be suspended and I needed to push "1" and speak with an agent (which I did NOT!). I resist all temptation to think that this call was in any way related to me being on the SSA.gov website earlier today checking my social security benefits. But WEIRD!!! Anyway, my clothes came out nice and clean and you know, you meet the most interesting people at the laundromat. And the washers and dryers take Apple Pay! Awesome! . read more

I come to launder my oversized bedding. They have large washers that fit everything I bring. The machines appear to be in good condition; I haven't had any issues. Why I like this laundromat: It's clean - whenever I'm here, I see the manager walking thru making sure everything is tidy. The machines accept credit cards & Apple pay so I don't have to worry about coins. I've never had to wait for a machine. Easy parking. read more

Ive been coming here for a long time. My favorite laundry place in the entire tri valley area. They have plenty of washers and dryer machines that are all in different sizes, and they all are kept clean. Rob the person that owns the place keeps it maintained very well, i always see him fixing up everything, and sweeping the place up. One time i left my laundry overnight accidentally, and Rob had it in a bag for me the next day to pick up! Love this place, plenty of parking outside also. read more

Best laundromat in town, the manager is very courteous and keeps a very clean store. I come here when the laundry is too much for our apartment and the prices are excellent for the amount I need done. Apple and Android pay are always a plus, free WiFi, plug in and USB ports to charge your phones. Highly recommended. read more

I had previously had some bad experiences here and stopped coming. I decided to give it another try and I noticed some great changes. -I havent had any machine problems -WiFi -Much cleaner -Coin machines haven't been out of order or out of change -USB charging stations -More effective AC and signs on the door asking users to keep the door closed I came in one day when the owner was here and had a nice chat with him. He told me about some significant improvements made recently and about more planned. He asked for feedback and suggestions and we talked about ways to improve the customer experience. He mentioned that he is here often and can be reached live via phone if a customer has a problem. He seems to genuinely care about the customer experience in his facility, and that makes me feel very comfortable bringing my business here and giving a 5 star review! read more

We were in town for a high school girl's basketball tournament and needed to clean uniforms. Early afternoon on a Wednesday was very busy but we were able to get in and out in less than an hour. There was a nice man cleaning up and assisting customers. The place was very clean, cool, and smelled nice. There were signs providing instructions and the machines were easy to use. Prices were decent as well. We don't visit laundromats often but I would definitely come back here if needed. I highly recommend it to others. read more

I've been washing here for years without any problems. It has been neat and clean. A few weeks ago I came in and did a big load. I placed the amount of quarters on top of the machine but when I inserted the coins I was short 2 quarters. Thought I miss counted. Today I used two different machines and placed coins on machine. I carefully counted them out as I'm short on cash this time around and sure enough, I was .50 short on both machines. If the price has gone up, fine but make sure the screen reflects that. Literally here for the first time right now. Standard laundromat smells, relatively clean. A little small for the number of people passing through though. I think the owner is going around now and cleaning up trash and such on the floor. Small washers (labeled double load) are currently $2 per load, going up to $2.75 in March it looks like. Dryers are $0.25/5 minutes. Not sure how much the extra large washers are, looks like maybe $5 per load. There's a WiFi sign on the front window but I'm not trying it out. read more

Took a large comforter here to use a commercial size machine and was really pleased with the variety of washing machine sizes. The laundry itself looks a little worn but it was very clean and there were several chairs in which to sit. There is a money changing machine too, very useful.
