They don't carry the COVID vaccine. Which is weird cause they are supposed to be a one stop shop…read more I better not find out it's because of politics or I will find a new provider for everything.

I feel compelled to report Sun Life Pharmacy to the State Board of Pharmacy as well as the Medical…read moreBoard. In my opinion Ms. Anita Perez, Pharm D. of Sun Life Florence AZ has exhibited severe misconduct and a decline in competency as Pharm D as it pertains to how my medications and medical care was handled. In addition to a severe breakdown in communication with me, in my opinion, there has been a sharp decline in the standard of my care at this pharmacy since my care commenced in 2023. This pharmacist has filled my medications improperly, and dispensed incorrect quantities of medication to me a as well as she filled the wrong medication type on several occasions. When insurances reject medications, rather than to start a prior authorization to fix the issue and fill the correct amount of medication, the pharmacist just filled whatever the insurance approved and failed to communicate any changes with me. Something as simple as a prior authorization or finding an alternative medication or even suggesting the doctor change the frequency of how a medication can be taken can make all the difference in a patient's ability to receive their medication, Moreover in my opinion, patients should receive their medications exactly how their doctor wrote the prescription, notwithstanding an insurance rejection. On multiple occasions Ms. Perez not only refused to communicate with me of any changes in my medications, but continued to fill them incorrectly without batting an eye. Albeit my medications were filled incorrectly, what's worse rather than to apologize and fix the issue, Ms. Perez denied wrongdoing like she always does when it comes to my care. The most repugnant part is that instead of acting like an adult and taking responsibility for her mistakes in order to improve our provider- to- patient relationship moving forward, in my opinion, she may have convinced the pharmacy to discharge me. I then received a letter alleging I am being discharged to due my 'bad conduct" (110% FALSE), when all I did was file a grievance concerning substandard patient care. This pharmacist is pretty audacious, thinking she can defame and libel my good name with impunity. She could have just indicated the pharmacy will stop conducting business with me and leave it at that. Instead, she and the pharmacy director flipped the script and blamed me for their incompetence. Make this make sense. Patients have a right to enter complaints if they believe to have received substandard medical care. NOW their cheap lawyers are threatening me that if I tell the public about my experience with Sun Life that they will sue. Most unprofessional pharmacy ever. If they are willing to sue me just for speaking the truth, what will they do to you? I have not had contact with the pharmacy since I was discharged following my complaints to the regional manager, yet two months later they threaten to sue. This is scary stuff guys. You can be sued for telling the truth about your patient experience. If any place of business refuses to repair and remedy your patient care, following a legitimate complaint you have made, and threatens to sue you, it's not worth the risk, GO ELSEWHERE.
