I had the worst experience there. They had a special 3 cases of Poland spring for $11.89. I lugged the cases in my cart. When o got to the checkout they said you need a coupon. They told me so rudely to step aside. The manager was no help. So I left the carriage and I will never go back there. The worst customer service especially the manager a lady that was no help. read more

As far as grocery stores go, this one needs to be missed. Just about on every visit I go here I leave frustrated. Customer service is horrible, the people would rather talk to each other than customers or around you, or they seem so unhappy to be there. The bottle return machines are never in working order and when you do ask to get them running an extremely rude woman comes in and yells at you for she acts as if it were our fault for a full bin. She even told me I was wasting her time when she fixed a machine. How extremely rude. As a corporate company, I think they have a lot to learn about how to run a business. Low prices are hard to find and local pricing drives me crazy. They say it is level competition, I think it is confusing. Some of it could even be considered price gouging. Why is one week an item on sale for $2, then a week later it is $5.99 off sale? I would like to go into a store, buy an item at nearly the same price all year long and not have to price check all around or worry about whether the item I want is on sale. This store is also very crowded with people banking and more times than not the checkout lines are long with only a few lanes open. The self checkouts are good! I try to avoid this store at all costs, even though it is only a block away from my house. They really need to work on customer service, quality of service as a store and overall feel. read more

this is lynn for lynn it's nice, it has stuff, it has vegetables, it has meat is everything you want in a supermarket . the supermarket is great for people watching, it has hot bodies, it has scantily dressed women, it has beach babes. come here to watch people and shop and get it all for less than a trip to the strip club. Lynn, where everyday is sinfully good! read more

Stop & Shop - Ok. Looks yummy. - Grocery Near Me - Lynn, Massachusetts

I will talk about the Revere stop and shop at 40 furlong Dr. This is the 4th time I notice the posted price of the green squash DOES NOT match the price charge at the cashier they post 99c/lb however by the time you are charge it is 1.29 this is not a matter of use or not the " STOP & SHOP" card. I wonder if this is happening only with the green smash or it is happening also with all "SPECIALS". How many consumers have been over charged attracted by Stop n Shop "SPECIALS" There are more than 2 months it is happening to me read more

This is the closest SNS to my house, so I feel like I am constantly here. However, I am a huge fan of DIY, so I breeze right in, do my shopping, use the self-checkout, and I'm done in a matter of minutes. This location has 2 Redboxes, which is nice. They also have a Dunkin Donuts next to the Bakery, which is super convenient. The produce section here is huge. I like the variety they always seem to have! The meat section needs re-stocking often. There are often times I go here (esp on a Sunday), and the meat shelves are completely empty. Unacceptable! Big store, clean, good service, huge parking lot... the only thing I wish they had is that scanner gun thingie that you can use while you shop. It would help greatly expedite the checkout process! read more

Horrible service! I bought coleslaw from the deli when i got home I found out it was sour so proceeded to return it,upon doing so the person at customer service gave me attitude asking how was I sure its sour...really?! Just the smell alone was a dead give away smh she refunded me my cash but gave me attitude the whole time. My advice...Avoid this stop n shop and go to market basket read more

Just bought 3 lbs of steak tips. I wish I could post a picture, because I have no way to return this $25 purchase tonight. One peice over a pound of all fat and skin. Disgusting. Maybe a little qc in meat department is in order read more

Disgusting and totally unacceptable. I went here to purchase some thick cut bacon for the sheer reason it was the closest location only to be rewarded by giant globs of uncut fat with literally no meat content on them at all fused into a rotting slime ball. Absolutely unacceptable for $6.99. Not only is the giant fat ball obviously inedible due to its texture but the slime (and i literally mean copious amounts of goops and scum) obviously tell me this is rotting meat that was slapped down under your brand name. Are you proud of selling potentially deadly quality meat to people at a premium? Disgusting, unacceptable, trashy, you have forever lost a customer and anyone I can tell about this. If this was the first time I've gotten either trash quality food or trash quality service i'd give it another shot but this is clearly the M.O. of this Stop and Slop. read more

Mgr Kevin Waters is the most UNPROFESSIONAL manager I have ever seen. Watched him totally scream at a new employee in front of customers and employees and threaten their job. He had no idea of conversation that had transpired. Store WAY overpriced. Check out the meat Dept. Hamburg is nice and red on the outside yet BROWN on the inside which to me means adding fresh meat to old meat to sell. Notice chicken, looks great when purchasing yet when you unpack it, entire bottom is all clumps of white fat that YOU are paying for by the pond! Do you want to but that? I certainly don't. Extremely poor management, food LESS than par and way overpriced. SHOP AT MARKET BASKET. DOUBLE YOUR FOOD FOR THE $!! If I could give zero stars, I most definitely would. read more

WATCH OUT FOR THIS STOP AND SHOP This store has a very bad case of MICE, RATS, Mold and they repackage OLD FOOD. The so called Bake Shop does not have fresh food and has mouse and rat droppings everywhere. Along with flies. Look for yourself check the display cases. You will find all sorts of dead bugs and poop. If you have bread sliced .The slicer machine has mice Poop all in it and they DO NOT CLEANING IT. read more

Just left this stop and shop in tears because of the $80 extra I spent, compared to the same items at market basket (suck on that Arthur S.!!), but also because of the huge increase in the number of shoppers today. Those of us who would typically be at the salem or other local market baskets were all here. This made for congested aisles, long check out lines, and a scary parking lot. Also, wtf stop and shop? No marinated meats for the grill? No cookies at the bakery for the kids? Save Market Basket!! read more

Rich and Lizzy are rude also unprofessional and rude !! They paid my gas bill after I gave lady the right bill she still messed up 250$ they did noting to help cancel it they are a mess down there read more

Manager Rich is rude, condescending, and unprofessional. He has zero customer services skills, does not know how to speak to anyone, and screams on the phone. He should be let go immediately. It's 2016, no one cares about your ego, bud. read more

This place is awful! It's dirty sticky stuff on the floor and the people at the cash register are more interested in talking about getting drunk the night before than actually doing their job. One woman who's bagging groceries was going on and on about how she didn't want to be there as all the groceries are piling up! Never again. read more

So, I have shopped at this location hundreds of times, and it seems like every time I go, the experience is just plain worse than the last time. The final nail in the coffin for the chance of me ever going back happened last week. I was waiting in line behind a customer who had gathered the wrong items for a WIC order. She proceeded to go back to aisles and exchange the items one at a time. OK, whatever. The little kiosk thing that the front end manager stands at was right next to my line. There she stood eating a bag of chips and drinking a soda. Now, the lines were starting to get a little backed up. There were two more people behind me. Still the front end "manager" stood eating her chips. Shortly thereafter, a fourth person got on the end of our line. The front end manager immediately screamed "GIRL....come on over to the next lane." I thought she had meant me, as I was next and had been patiently waiting for a while as the customer in front of me got the correct items. NOPE. She meant the newest member of the line! The poor older lady behind me tried to squeak out a complaint about having been waiting longer....to which she was told "You have too much stuff. This girl doesn't have as much." The pair of them laughed and the "friend" got checked out in no time. Then the front end "manager" went right back to eating her chips and left us all still waiting there. I am NEVER going back in that store. It has become pretty dirty, and I have had to check expiration dates on items too. Not only that, they took out their fresh fish counter. So, no thanks. read more

Do not come here if you need to reload your Visa Gold Card with money-they are so stupid here and have no clue how to do it or use their computers period. I've gone to lots of places with no problem to reload my card but here they always have a problem either trying to give me phone minutes when I never want to do that or they simply cant put anything on the card making me feel like Im the idiot who has an invalid card. I dont understand why they have this service if they dont know how to use it! read more

My experience was amazing thanks to Manager Scott Broderick. I was trying to find an item and after asking 5 store employees I ran into Scott. Each employee I had asked for the location of the item each employee had told me a location, however, when asking for them to show me they either told me, "I'm busy," "it's not my section," or just had ignored me. I usually am fine with just knowing the location, but in this particular situation I had already knew generally where it was, the problem was I could not find the place (specific Shelf location) to verify that it was for sure out of stock. When I had asked Scoot he did the best thing a customer needs in any situation. He had told me where it was then continued to walk me to find the item. I noticed he was busy working when I asked him, but he wanted to make sure I was satisfied and did all he could to make sure I got what I came in the store to buy. After showing me the empty shelf, he looked in the inventory without me even asking, and told me about the stores supply and demand of that particular item on any given week. He noticed how much I wanted the item and for sure did everything he could to help me. Scott Broderick deserves to be recognized for the work he does and I hope this message outlines the great work this manager does, most likely all the time. read more

Usually always have a pleasant experience but today was the exception. I love the new, upgraded self check out area, but they don't always work. It slows down, telling you to remove unscanned items from the bagging area, when you didnt put anything there yet. Also, when going to pay, I always have to wait for a csr to come and scan his or her card so I can pay. Today, three separate customers had our lights flashing and there were two young boys standing at the end of the section. They were too busy flirting with a girl to come and help. One of them looked over at us several times and ignored us until he was yelled at by. Manager. read more

I just wanted to give a shout out to the fabulous lady working the deli today. Although the line was long her attitude and personality was so welcoming and friendly and they are lucky to have such kind staff like that. read more

Produce sections sucks! Especially the refrigerated produce. Always out of 30% of the items. Need spinach? Cilantro? Dill? Kale? No luck, tons of plain parsley though, spread all around where the missing items are supposed to be. When the veggies are in stock they are usually limp and old. I asked a guy if they had any dill and he said no. I said, "You guys didn't have any last week either." He says, "I can show you sales reports that show movement so we have had it," Thanks, guy! I totally care about your movement reports, they will make a nice addition to my dinner! Isn't the idea in retail to track sales patterns and use that data to anticipate the amounts you need to order to meet customer demand? I dunno, I'm no business major, but methinks the buyer needs a lesson or two. Also, I regularly find expired items along the wall where hummus and buitoni items are kept, as well as bags of salad that are slimy inside. read more

The minute I stepped into this grocery store, I knew I would never come out the way I came in. As I walked down the aisle and felt myself surrounded by the assorted vegetables and other convenient products, I felt myself ascend to the heavens. I saw my own reflection in the linoleum floors and my face was one of pure bliss. As I grabbed a box of oatmeal, I couldn't help but let a small moan escape from my lips. You've given me a place that I can not only call my grocery store - but that I can also call my home. I want my son to take his first steps here. I want my daughter to get married in the frozen foods aisle. I want to sign my divorce papers on top of a stack of day old bread. This is where I belong. read more

Worst shopping experiences of my life. Management refuses to hire enough checkers for the volume of business, so check-out wait times of 20 minute are normal, and 30 or 40 (word!) minutes are not unknown. They try to force you to self check-out, but that never works right, and you wait even longer for some begrudging assistance. Working under these conditions tends to make the checkers understandably surly, and it all feels like shopping in the former USSR. If you have any alternative, avoid this place like the plague. read more
