Elderly lady just hovered and said no cashiers are available and said she has 5 registers to watch, but she had to stand and hover over us like we were going to steal something. Prices go up and they won't or don't have employees to check you out. Needlessto say we will not be back to waynes in Webster. We will drive to Walmart instead, get better service there.

Wayne's has become the shopping Mecca for anti-maskers. If you're anxious to catch a new highly…read morecontagious covid variant, Wayne's Foods in Webster Wisconsin is the place to go. Let me relate an experience which happened February 25th at about 5:30 p.m. To begin with, Wayne's has always been lax with respect to mask wearing compliance. It is a known fact that supermarkets are a common source of transmission for the virus. There is a myth going around that you can't force mask compliance. That is only partially true: a private business has the right to require that it's patrons wear masks while shopping in the store. The signage regarding mask compliance is well inside the store. The sign is innocuous and the intent would appear to be to make anti maskers comfortable. The fact of the matter is, some employees are allowed to violate mask wearing requirements. This type of permissiveness is exactly what leads to the spread of more infectious strains! While shopping at the above-mention date and time, as usual a minor percentage of customers were maskless. When I arrived at checkout, the two younger female employees we're gabbing carrying on a conversation. The younger one was maskless, and the other employee had her mask pulled down over her nose and mouth. She started to check me out and I requested that she put her mask in place and cover her nose and mouth. Her attitude and body language made it clear that she resented the request. That was when I noticed the younger blonde haired girl was not wearing a mask at all. I asked her, " why are you not wearing a mask?" Her response, said in a less than polite way was, "I don't have to!" I'm definitely pissed off. I've spent a ton of money there over period of a decade. I am now doing my major shopping at Four Winds and will only stop at Wayne's for small things. Wearing my mask for sure as I always do.

Moved to Isanti Minnesota in June 2024 and looked for a local grocery store. Found Coborn's.....was…read morejust ok and average. Since the 1.5 years we've been going there for groceries it has continued to decline dramatically. Store not stocked very well with many items continually low or out of stock. Distilled water, large ketchup, bathroom supplies, toothpaste and many other items always out of stock or very low supply. Many items in the store are continually out of date and expired, but still sitting on the shelf to be sold. Activia yogurt, milk, dairy products, salad croutons, produce, the list goes on. This is pathetic to not purge these items so consumers don't spend their hard earned money on expired products! Store arrangement of items is just weird.......makes zero sense compared to other grocery stores. Items like Ketchup you need to practically stand on your head on the bottom shelf to get a bottle, with other seldom used condiments in easy view and reach, why???? Popular brands are eliminated in favor of generics that are not as good or as high of quality. Some, not all, of the staff is rude and very cold.......no welcome or Hi, they walk right by you and at checkout throw items down the belt like it's a NASCAR race. I won't even mention the convoluted way to purchase their gasoline to get their advertised discount. We now drive 12-miles to North Branch to get our groceries........we won't shop at Coborn's any longer! Unless they clean up the place and make changes. It's obviously a management issue as these issues can easily be remedied but they don't seem to care at all. Bye Bye Coborn's!
