They have just wrapped up a complete finishing of our basement including a full bath, a kitchenette and bedroom flooring lighting and family living spaces From the very beginning of the project, Baltic Custom Construction demonstrated a rare combination of creativity, professionalism and craftsmanship. Darious, Tracey and their team approached every part of the job with a thoughtful eye, offering innovative suggestions that make the most t of our space while keeping our vision, needs and budget at the forefront. What stood out most was their thoroughness and attention to detail. BCC didn't just complete the job - the perfected it. From clean, precise finishes to careful consideration of lighting, layout and function, it was cleat that Darius and his team take great pride in doing things right. Even the smallest details - things we didn't think to ask for, like an elegant new banister leading to the basement, or painting the exposed piping under the floating vanity to match the bathroom hardware - were completed with care, often exceeding our expectations. It's rare to find a contractor who blends quality workmanship with such a high level of integrity and professionalism. We are thrilled with the results and would enthusiastically recommend Baltic Custom Construction to anyway looking for excellent, reliable work.

They came out to see the project and were able to get me a quote the next day. They completed the construction of a greenhouse in just two days. I also had them put up shelves in my basement, and take care of a few smaller jobs around the house for me. The thing I really appreciated was that they were transparent and made honest recommendations. The custom masonry work they did for the floor of my greenhouse looked great. They really took the time to make sure everything was done properly. They are also properly ensured and will pull the appropriate permits needed to complete the job where necessary. They are super responsive as well and were able to provide me with quotes for other projects I was interested in. They can do anything for you and even construct entire homes. I will be working with them to lay down a patio this spring. I highly recommend them for any work you need done. My family & I were very pleased by the work we had done by Remodel Max. Shout out to Wayne, Dennis,…read moreMadison, Mitch, Brennen (sp?), & Nick. I was seeing signs in our 75 year old house that indicated to me that the house might have been sinking, so we called out several contractors to inspect our foundation. My husband & I were out of our element. We suspected there was something very wrong with the house, but we didn't know to what extent there was (or wasn't) damage, we didn't know what it would take to get each issue fixed, & we had no idea how much it would cost. I asked each contractor to bring a structural engineer along for the inspection, & Wayne was the only one who was willing to accommodate my request. The other contractors either felt that I needed to get my own structural engineer (to create a design that they could bid on), or that our situation didn't warrant a blueprint design of any kind - which gave us the impression they were just going to "wing it." We really felt our situation required a contractor to work in tandem with a structural engineer from the start. We did not feel comfortable hiring our own structural engineer to create a design that the contractor could potentially disregard halfway through repairs. It felt too risky for us to do a Design-Bid-Build contract. We wanted someone invested from start to finish. Afterall, this was not just a bathroom remodel, a hardscape, nor just an addition. It was an exceedingly complicated repair to the structural integrity of my existing home. Wayne was the only contractor who could see the extent to which our first floor joists & main triple beam were deteriorating, was able to list the myriad of serious issues we had, & in each way it needed to be repaired correctly. He was very thorough in his inspection before even talking about an estimate with hard numbers. It required 2 visits to the house, & paying a "Good Faith" fee for the structural engineer's time before we were able to get an estimate - But that's how it works with structural engineers, & we were grateful to have someone taking our situation as seriously as it truly was. The repairs to the house required us to move out of our house while Wayne's crew rebuilt our entire first floor, including jacking up & re-leveling the house. It was arguably one of the most difficult tasks they may have taken on. It required jacking up our second story, while demolishing the first floor floor, the joists, the triple beam & replacing it all. Think about it: How do you replace the first floor of a house without the second floor crashing down on top of you? How do you do it while leaving the second floor intact? Mitch & his crew handled it well, to put it lightly. Each one of them went the extra mile & took their time to make sure everything was done correctly. It took a lot of coordination between many people for us to move out & have the house ready for Mitch & his crew to get started. They were all extremely communicative, professional, & down-to-earth. We felt confident in their abilities throughout the repairs, & we are confident our new first floor will last us another 100 years. Ps. Sorry this review took so long, Dennis. But a promise is a promise.

He was quick to get me a quote and walked me through the contract as well. He was always responsive via text and email when I had questions and followed through on everything he said he would. The work itself was great and the contractors performing the services were on time, cleaned up after each day's work, and made sure they put down tarps and drop clothes so our Condo unit (inside and outside) were kept clean. The other residents in the building were amazed how clean they were!!! if you want it done right - call these guys. I plan to bring them back in the future for other projects. Dean S. Perry Hall, MD

Ashley is that rare contractor who listens, researches, and gets it right. She never fakes confidence or brushes off questions. If something needed clarification, she took the time to find the right answer and came back prepared. The project included a full teardown and rebuild; new floors, walls, ceilings with recessed lighting, a rebuilt bathroom, new doors, a hidden electrical panel access, and a framed portal with a small door for crawl space access. In the middle of it all, a tree fell on our garage. Ashley handled everything. She called an inspector, worked with our insurance, and had the roof fixed in under a week. Thanks to her, it was barely a blip in the process. Her crew was professional, efficient, and always friendly. Sara, her right-hand woman, deserves a shout-out for her upbeat attitude and Halloween enthusiasm. It was my first time working with a female general contractor, and it completely changed my expectations. Ashley's care, communication, and eye for detail are unmatched. I've already recommended her to friends who were just as happy. Photos attached

Window Replacement Project: Historic Row-Home, Baltimore, MD…read more *NOTE: If you don't want to read the entire review, know this about our experience with Jeff (JSH) 1. Fair Pricing- we did our research 2. Knowledgeable & Skilled 3. Communicative 4. Prompt, Clean, & Respectful of our home & of us 5. Authentically nice guy, a pleasure to work with We decided to have the windows in our historic HOA row-home in Baltimore in replaced September of 2025. It was a project that we took very seriously as our neighborhood requires strict guidelines to any exterior alterations. We did much research, vetting many window companies and installers. When we let go of the idea of a turnkey supplier/installer we agreed that our best option was to purchase Marvin Windows from local long-time Hardware and supply store, National Lumber. National Lumber does not necessarily recommend contractors but they gave us three numbers. We called all three and JSH was quick to respond and come out. Jeff was knowledgeable about the historic guidelines that needed to be worked within. He asked the National Lumber sales rep to meet at our house so that they could discuss the best way to ensure a successful install, and they measured the windows together so there would be no confusion in translating to an order submittal. This was just the beginning of the process before we even solidified the working relationship. Moving forward, we explained that communication was important to us, we are very flexible and forgiving as long as we are in the know. Jeff assured us that he would be in contact with updates and plan for the following day, every day he was on the job. He was true to his word. After we made our decision the windows were ordered. They arrived and Jeff began installing them in February 2026. He worked with just one helper and finished the job within a week. They were meticulous about removal of the old windows so that we could donate them for reuse, and just as careful to install the new windows so that they would provide maximum life and benefit for our home. Beyond that, they were clean and respectful of our home. It could not have been a better experience. Best we've had with any contractor. So much so that we were already setting the hook for him to renovate our kitchen as soon as we are able! He was very receptive to helping us through that project when the time comes, that time is coming soon, so stay tuned for an updated review!
