Great pro shop and grill. The golf course is as challenging as you want to make it. There are tee boxes from professional, member, senior, super senior,ladies and senior lady. There are Bermuda fairways and Bent grass greens. The ball can easily be played as it lies and the greens are large and putt true. There is plenty of sand, water and trees. I think it is the best value in middle TN and worth a 50-75 mile drive.

The course is always in excellent shape, with well-maintained fairways and greens that roll true. The staff has been friendly and welcoming every time I've visited, making the whole experience even better. The pace of play has been good, and the layout is fun for golfers of all skill levels. You can tell they take pride in keeping the course in top condition. If you're looking for a great public course in the area, Towhee Club is definitely worth checking out. I've played there a time or two since, and had great experiences each time. The course is challenging, the greens are tough and fast, and I love that they have multiple tee locations (white, orange, brown, and black--not counting seniors/ladies), so that the course gives you multiple experiences depending on where you want to play from that day. One caveat is that the course uses a dynamic pricing model based on supply and demand, and since golf has blown up recently (and since the course is in a super high-income part of Tennessee), the greens fees are a little out of my personal price range. I am only able to justify playing at the GolfNow "Hot Deal" rate, which will get you on the course for about $50 or so. At this price, the course is an excellent, excellent value. And given how busy the course is, I'm actually surprised they offer the Hot Deals through the GolfNow app, so I'm assuming that offer could go away at any moment. Golfers should take advantage of it while they can. For me personally, the full greens fees of ~$100 is not a good value, so I can't recommend it at this price. But if you can find a deal for $50-$65 (including the cart), you'll be more than pleased.

I like everything about this course except two things: 1) extensive rough, in the middle of…read morefairways, making 18 holes without losing several balls, impossible, and 2) the carts have GPS to keep you from driving on some fairways, which is ok, but if you happen to drive outside of those boundaries, the cart is disabled. Making a 66 year old push an unpowered cart is pretty bad.

The staff is as nice as one could imagine. Neal the course pro and his staff offer great hospitality the week I visited. Green fees are reasonable. One recommendation is making advance tee time, although walk ins are welcome. There is a well stocked golf pro shop with equipment, accessories and apparel. The course also offers a driving range/ practice area. On my last visit to HH I attended a tournament of 80 players and found a well ran event. Our contact was Neil the club pro, he was able to make advance reservations for the entire group. Thanks for a great weekend of golf.

Perched atop a gorgeous hillside vineyard sprinkled with picnic tables and a lovely small stage for concerts, the scenery was breathtaking, peaceful, and absolutely amazing--even under an overcast sky after narrowly missing the rain. The hospitality matched the views, with a warm and friendly staff that made our personal tasting--shared alongside a lovely couple visiting from England--truly special. We explored the tasting options among three of us: Red Flight: Chosen by my father. White Flights: Enjoyed by both my sister and me. Sweet Selection: An alternative flight offering a mix of red and white options. Wine is wonderfully personal, and while I appreciated their selection overall, the whiskey-barrel-aged wines weren't quite to my taste, as I generally prefer wines aged in oak or stainless steel (especially whites). A Helpful Tip for Visitors: While there are handicap parking spaces, we found the walk up to the tasting room a bit challenging for our mother due to back issues. We later discovered a couple of parking spaces closer to the entrance, as well as a staircase. Thankfully, we were able to drive up the hill to pick her up afterward, sparing her the walk back down! After our tasting, we relaxed outside with a picnic lunch we brought ourselves. All in all, I truly enjoyed our visit and would love to return for one of their concerts. As a fun bonus, one of the co-owners is Kix Brooks from Brooks & Dunn! If you've never been to Arrington Vineyards, it is definitely worth a stop.

We stopped by for a quick wine and food pairing experience during our Nashville trip. I have to admit, we were initially quite disappointed. It was surprisingly difficult to find where we were supposed to go for our tasting, and the staff weren't particularly helpful in directing us. Granted, the weather wasn't great that day, and we were told they normally have golf carts to transport guests to the tasting area. So I'll give them a pass on that! Apparently, we weren't the only ones having trouble, as another table also arrived quite late because they couldn't find the location. Thankfully, once we finally found our way, the experience was wonderful! We tasted five different wines, each paired with a small dessert. Just a heads-up: don't expect the food portions to fill you up! These are small bites meant to complement the wines rather than serve as a meal. What I really enjoyed was how thoughtfully the wines and desserts were paired. There were a few wines I initially thought I wouldn't like, but surprisingly, I ended up enjoying them once paired with the right dessert. It really showed how much a good pairing can change your appreciation of a wine! The tasting was enjoyable, the setting was lovely, and the price was very reasonable for the experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend Arrington Vineyards, especially for a romantic afternoon or a relaxing wine tasting with someone special.
