    Welcome
    Melissa S.

Visiting for the weekend and was looking for a place to get a nice bite of lunch. Stonewall cafe fits the bill. It's just what you expect in a small town diner/cafe. The owners are friendly and there to welcome guests. Menu is classic - burgers, sandwiches, salads and of course breakfast. I ordered the patty melt on rye which came with chips. It was delicious with that well used griddle flavor on the crisp bread and burger. Grilled onions and peppers inside added to the yum factor. Chips were nice side. It's downstairs so nice and cool under ground but beware - your cell won't work but they do have free wifi if you have to post yelp pictures in real time. Interior walls are stone hence the name so no false advertising. Owners are looking to sell the place - according to their custom paper placements they are just too old to run a restaurant anymore. i hope someone buys it and continues the legacy of small town diners like this one. There aren't alot of options in this town and this would be a shame to lose. Enjoy stopping in for a bite or coffee - you'll be happy you did.

The matcha was smooth and not too earthy, and the pistachio flavor added just the right amount of sweetness without tasting artificial. The café itself has a nice atmosphere and felt like a great place to sit and catch up with a friend or get some work done. Everything looked clean and well put together, and the staff was friendly when taking my order. I appreciate when coffee shops offer unique drinks that are different from the usual menu, and this one definitely stood out. I'll be back to try some of their other specialty drinks next time I'm in the area. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something a little different from the big chain coffee shops.

I usually ask for a shot of dark chocolate syrup to make it a chocolate chai, so I did for this occasion. The barista made as requested, however, she did give me a heads up that their chai is unique and might not go well with chocolate. She did offer to remake it without the chocolate if I didn't like it. I do taste the difference, but was fine with it as is. If we stop in here again, I will try it without the chocolate because I want to experience the full chai flavor. Jim was going to order their Mufawar specialty coffee, but got sidetracked by the seasonal offerings. He had the salted brown butter latte instead. We both enjoyed our order and would return here again. I like their location too. Easy in and out.

They offer great selection of pastries and hot and cold beverages. From what Papa and I tried, visiting this place few days in a row, we really enjoyed food and drinks. The staff were helpful and we received our orders in timely manner. We both really enjoy the layout of this home-like atmosphere. It has a beautiful fireplace with variety of games and books you can read. It offers plenty of seating area, with large couch. Including a large Quiet Room. The Quiet Room can be reserved/rented for larger groups in advance. Otherwise you can use the Quiet Room for working, studying, reading or just to sit and enjoy peace and quiet. I recommend this place if you want to try something local instead of a chain store. I will for sure be returning here. For more great content, check out YouTube.com/@AbroadTravel

Wowowowow. Both the hot & cold lattes are phenomenal. Can't wait to visit again to try something new! To the blonde girl who took our order- Maybe take on some customer service courses and listen a bit better. To the lady who remade my coffee with oatmilk after the cashier was not comprehending correctly and gave me almond milk, thank you. You turned the experience around for me.
