We also added a salad that came with cucumbers, onions and peppers and an Italian vinaigrette. We also got Buffalo wings and BBQ wings. They were crispy and flavorful and we were able to split between both flavors. Ordering at the counter was easy and smooth. The server brought our food out promptly. I attempted to call in an order for delivery on a Weds at 5 pm in November. An Asian kid answered the phone. I said, "I'd like to place an order for delivery, please." And he let out this loud, disgusted sounding sigh. I was planning to order a few items but my first question was, What does your garden salad have on it? Pizza is pretty good here. I also have tried the steak grinder, but it's a hit or miss, depending on who is cooking it I guess. I tried it for the first time a few months ago and I really enjoyed it. Upon ordering online for the first time I made a mistake I didn't understand the menu option much. So I ended up getting the wrong pie. But the manager was so kind as to making me another pie on the house, and letting me keep the one I ordered wrong. Seriously so sweet of him thank you! Last night, we ordered two small pizzas at 6:10 and they didn't arrive until 7:55 p.m. One of them came without the toppings and we had to call for the restaurant to bring us the proper pizza. In the meantime, the other pizza was like trying to eat bark, it was so dry and overcooked, it was almost unedible. When the pizzas arrived, they smelled so good, and the sauce was tasty, but that's all that was worth writing about. It was very difficult to bite into and actually hurt my gums because it was so tough. Oh well, now we know not to order from them again. read more

Very disappointed with what I received. My large pepperoni pizza was barely cooked and had minimal pepperoni on it and the buffalo wings had no sauce on them. I'm not someone to complain, but come on now. Cook the pizza and toss the wings in buffalo sauce. Absolutely terrible. read more

I love pizza. Pizza is life. And we need life to survive. So without we are I was in the area for a fundraiser and was craving pizza. So I yelped to see what was around to fulfill my life. This establishment is clean, and the owner was very kind. They have a pizza bar, and had a yankee game playing. They also have plenty of tables and wheelchair accessible. For 9.99 you can purchase a large cheese pizza. Slices are under 1.89 and the slices aren't skimpy as I imaged they would be. The dough is thin crust and the sauce & cheese is tasty. Ordered a pizza online for someone in a convalescent home. Left her room number and name. When they delivered they gave MY name, security told them there was nobody by that name. Delivery guy called owner and they just left the pizza at security. I called to ask about the order today and was told there's nothing he could do. I asked why I was not called and the owner said they only call if you ask them too. If you have an issue with delivery contact the person who placed the order. This is a staple for my family's take out repertoire. We always use their coupons that are provided for a large- 2 topping and medium-1 topping- plus a 2 liter of soda for 22.99- delivery option. The pizza is good, the food is delivered hot and fresh, and you cannot beat the other dinner options either. We usually add on a dinner for lunch the next day. THE BEST pizza in town. The crust is made well, not with that hard cornmeal, most places use. The pizza isn't so thin that it's barely there like Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in New Haven. Hated it. My goodness, it was so thin. It was aweful. And the crust was hard and burnt but that's how they do pizza at Pepe. That's NOT how they make pizza at Stonehouse. First and last time there. In a town like Waterbury where there are some great pizza joints this fell way flat. We have made better pizza at home. Sauce was bland, no seasoning, dough was flat with no yeasty flavor and no crunch or chew. Been here twice now while on a business trip to Waterbury. The grinders are great - the bread is fresh and delicious - definitely some of the best in town. Also the tomato sauce is tasty - they might make it in house. The portions are massive - I go with the guys and no one can manage to get through a whole grinder.
