I've had numerous problems with the Staff and Management (Michelle is the branch manager) at the…read moreFort Crook US bank location. From promised call backs never received to fees upon fees and lack of assistance across many situations, these guys have been a dissapointment to say the least. An attitude goes a long way and the tellers and bankers at this branch were only cordial on the day I opened my account. US bank at Bakers on Galvin are much more sociable and positive. Easy to talk to. At Fort Crook it's like everyone is in a bad mood, unwilling to help with a problem. Most importantly when there was a mess up with my check from Work, they took my paycheck out of my account, and added over 100 dollars in fees, even though the error happened somewhere on the bank's side. Left me with a negative balance for about a month for a simple clerical error and added insult to injury by trying to get more money out of me with various overdraft and returned check fees. I was livid with them. I was also told only the branch I opened my account at could wave my fees , leaving me to be helped only by a staff I long have felt is unwilling to help me. They've lied to me multiple times, saying they could only wave a certain type of fee one time, but then later going against their own stated policy and waving said fees. Obvious fear mongering to get you to not ask a second time. Someone less demanding than me would not have received their money back after these ridiculous fees.

He is very professional and knowledgeable, yet at the same time he's light-hearted and easy to talk to with a wicked sense of humor. I was very nervous when I first applied for a home-loan, and he totally put me at ease. He texts us with information (getting texts from your loan officer is surreal BTW) and wears Hawaiian shirts half the time. He also jokingly called us "damn fools" once, so that's a plus, lol. Joe = Banker with a sense of humor who's super smart and doesn't mind cursing at his clients (in a good way)!

Suzanne was amazing. We were searching for a buyers agent, but the only recommendations that we got…read morefrom acquaintances were of people NOT to use. In the end, a friend of my mom's recommended Suzanne and we could not have been luckier to have her represent us. Below are just a few of the words that describe our experience with her and what to expect for others that choose to work with her in the future. Patient. As first-time homebuyers, we didn't know the ins and outs of buying a house, but Suzanne did and she patiently walked us through the details and explained everything in terms we understood. She never laughed at or blew off our questions and addressed everything we had concerns with until we closed on the house. Helpful. We never felt as though we were being pressured into any specific home or time-frame. She only showed us homes that we were interested in and stood to the side as we walked through each home. She would point out specific details that she noted (both positive and negative), but these were always made without bias. Further, she would listen to our conversations and subtly take notes on our comments so that she gained a more refined view of what we liked and didn't like. She would sometimes bring these things up when we were looking at other houses (e.g. "I remember you said you liked crown-molding" or "This house has those same low ceilings that you didn't like in the previous house." It was great having someone remind us of these thoughts, as we were looking at many houses per day and she helped us put each one in context with the others. Fast communication. Text, email, phone, you name it. This is incredibly important given how quickly the housing market in Omaha is. We would send her houses we wanted to look at, and oftentimes within an hour she would have appointments scheduled. On many occasions, she was also very persuasive with the sellers/seller's agents and we were the first to see the newly listed houses or were able to walk through them outside of the hours listed for availability. Punctual. Suzanne was always on time for any meetings we had with her. This saved us a lot of time as we weren't waiting around before appointments. Further, it shows an immense amount of respect towards her clients that she puts so much effort to follow through with all of her promises, big and small. Motivating and optimistic. We had trouble finding homes we were interested in around the time of our visit, but she kept sending us options and encouraging us to keep looking. Further, when we got outbid on the first home we had made an offer on, we were devastated. Suzanne really worked hard to lift our spirits and get us back on track. Without her, we no doubt would have went home empty handed and ended up renting for several more years. Incredibly likeable. Suzanne is an absolute pleasure to get to know. She is professional, yet extremely personable. We frequently had conversations about our families, careers, hobbies, etc., which really helped us to maintain a positive attitude and keep us from getting overly stressed. The fact that we genuinely liked Suzanne as a person made spending so much time with her easy and the whole house search that much more enjoyable. Experienced. She gave us great advice in making offers and negotiations that were specific to the Omaha market. Further, she always gave the caveat that she wasn't telling us what to do and that it was our decision on how to proceed, meaning there was never any pressure to do anything we weren't comfortable with. Connected. Suzanne has many connections within the community with various contractors and inspectors. She always knew of good people to hire with reasonable rates, and would shop around for us if someone came back with a quote that seemed a little too high for the service. When our mortgage lender (who was recommended independently by a friend) found out we were working with Suzanne, his face glowed and he said "Oh, Suzanne is great!" Committed. We were only able to visit Omaha for about 5 days and Suzanne spent nearly every waking moment of that time with us or in communication with us until we found a home. She was absolutely fantastic in understanding and working with our time-frame. I honestly don't know how people are able to purchase houses without a buyer's agent that works this hard for the needs of their client. In the end, we found our dream home and could not be happier!

Centris bank, the Omaha branch specifically, allowed my ex-husband to forge my name over and over…read moreand over for five years to three different loans. Forge my name on the original loan documents and then over and over again to modify them for years. They need to be notarized you say.... Yes, yes they do. An employee, possibly a former I'm told, (but who knows because it took them an entire year to look into this and then determine that fraud is acceptable at their bank) notarized the loans over and over for years without me being present. No ID. Ever. Yet she signed them for him and approved the loan and changes over and over again. And if she is in fact a "former" employee, why do you fire employees if nothing was done wrong. Then it took over a year for me to ever hear anything from them to start their own "investigation," which ultimately determined that it is OK to commit fraud, identity theft, and forgery at Centris bank. Perks of doing your own investigation. The Nebraska State Patrol however thought it was worth several felony charges. ELEVEN Felony charges to be exact. ELEVEN. I was asked what I wanted out of the investigation because two of the loans were finally closed and I wasn't technically "harmed" by them because he paid them and only reported late on my credit once or so. So basically if you pay your bills, Centris is the place to forge loans in someone else's name because they are OK with it and still do business with him. It's still illegal, but apparently OK there. So if you're looking to rip someone off, steal their identify, forge a loan document, possess a forged object, and have the financial institute support you, Centris is the place to go. Don't waste your time ripping off small amounts from gas pumps, ATMs or old people's savings accounts. If you would like your identify protected, and avoid the nightmare of being SOL because they get their money either way, don't do business with Centris. Centris, for all your fraudulent banking needs.
