If she has ever told someone that they wont be able to find a perfect home or need to be willing to fix a things for the sought after price range, she's exactly right and I wouldn't get mad at her. She will never be rude though so I don't believe that. I noticed how "off" expectations are in the whole real estate process and sometimes you just need someone to be honest with you especially if you think your home is worth more than it actually is. We were then fortunate they hired us to be their personal, farm and business insurance agent. For the next 34 years we gave then honest insurance advise and they sent us many clients. Now we are retired and downsizing. We called them about what we could do to get the best price for our home. The came right over and looked things over, gave us suggestions and we arrived at an asking price. We got the work done and they came over to inspect and have us sign the listing papers. They placed one of their signs in our yard and we left them to take pictures and do their measurements. 4 hours later they called and said they had a full asking price offer for the home and if acceptable, we needed to sign the acceptance papers. Today, 30 days later, we were handed the check for the completed sale. I feel the reason things happened so quick and smooth was their reputation for being fair to both buyers and sellers and us not asking a ridiculous amount for the 57 year old home.
