It's a pretty nice and spread out area. The fields are pretty well maintained and as soon as the weather allows, there are people constantly using them all day and night, for baseball young and old and slow pitch games. One downside is that hardly any of the fields have score boards. I always hate as a spectator or player not having that visual of the score, pitch count and progress through the game. But there are bathrooms and sometimes a concession depending on the day. Parking can also be a pain if you don't get there early.

The untouched prairie provided lots of colorful flowers and other greenery. We enjoyed using our Merlin app to listen and identify all the many birds in the area. The lookout point to see the winding river from above was a nice shady sidetrack. Bugs weren't much of an issue but being a prairie, there was a significant amount of the trail in the sun. Wear a hat. We stopped in the ranger office to see if they had postcards (alas, no) but the staff was super helpful and they had maps if you need them. Great stop!

The staff were friendly and the zoo was very clean. I'm from California so I'm used to massive zoos but this one was quant and perfect for a quick visit. Escape rooms can really vary in their quality and the effort put into the creation of the rooms, but overall I think they did really well with these. My favorite one I've done here is the Museum of Terror room- such a cool storyline and sooo fun to try and stake the vampire before time runs out! The Ghost Story room is really tough, and the Time Machine is also a ton of fun! Fargo doesn't have a ton of escape rooms but this is still one of the best choices! I believe they have a sister business called the Fargo Escape Room- you need to try one if you haven't so you understand the addiction!!

We've tried maybe 12-15 escape rooms before. We know what rooms are good and which are not. We tried the Life or Death room, and it was absolutely superb! There was a great variety of puzzles and types of "locks". The staff was fun and excited for us when we escaped the room with 7 minutes remaining. You can get unlimited clues, but at a cost of 1 minute per clue. We solved the room with help from 3 clues. We've had a few really great room in the past but our boys rated this one the best. Our 17-year old recommends it "3000%".

This definitely sweeps the bottom of the board for the Milwaukee Trail parks. It's easily (and probably often) forgotten. It's small, and there's not much besides kind of a classic and dinky little playground set. As the name would suggest, it's the furthest south park, and it's precisely right next to Discovery Middle School where there's a much larger playground, as well as basketball courts, baseball & softball fields and much more. Basically, with that literally right nearby I have no idea why you'd ever come to Milwaukee South park. I mean hey, a parks a park but this one certainly ain't anything special.
