I had an 8:30am appointment and was there at 8:00. The trailer was backed in a stall and then they started working on it. When they were done they said the front axle was adjusted 1/4". I asked about the camber. My problem is tire wear. Then they checked tire pressure. It was all good. I asked again about the adjustment for tire wear. Then they went to get Mark the owner. I asked him the same questions about my tire wear. Mark the told me all campers are built overweight and then we add our items inside. I said but that would make the tires wear on the inside not the outside. He agreed then got angry and told me to get my camper out of his shop. He said I was costing him money, that he worked on trucks not campers. He said he would not charge me just to get my camper out of his shop. I offered to pay for the work performed and he just said get out. I can't imagine what happened. I pulled my camper out and left. Never going back to that place.

Class A motorhome Repair. We broke down in our Class A diesel motorhome, and it was a blessing it…read morehappened in front of Thompson Truck Repair shop. We knew we had an issue with the exhaust system from the fault codes. We have been to at least 8 previous mechanics over the last year trying to fix and clear these codes for the DPF and EGR. They would do a regen which only cleared these codes problem temporarily and charge us to fix something else. Not here! Wemet Richie, the manage. He and his team quickly did a diagnostic and looked over the rig. Richie was able to visually show us at least one of our major issues. This was going to be a BIG repair. We flew home to AZ for a week while they worked on the rig. Richie's communication with us 3000 miles away was outstanding. Thomas, the lead mechanic, and his team ran through the exhaust system with a fine tooth comb. Their goal seemed to be that this was the last mechanic we would need to see for these issues and we could have a safe continuation to our trip. This was a dirty job, as you might expect with a diesel exhaust. And access we partIy from inside our coach. But when we returned to the coach we found that Thomas had taken all precautions to leave us a clean coach! I can't list all the extra time and attention they spent on repairing our travel motorhome. We are back on the road traveling the country. About 700 miles since the repair and no faults, lights or alarms. It is amazing to me that all the previous mechanics would do faulty work just to charge us and get us out the door, never fixing the problem we came in for. We can't thank Richie and Thomas, and the team at Thompson Truck enough!!
