Diversified Services of Highland (Phone 618-754-5106) really made my day today…read more Their crew came out and within 3 hours had solved my drainage problems. My downspouts front and back all looked like fountains with every rain, and it was obvious the drains were not working properly. The water was all dumping next to the house foundation...not good and can be a huge problem if not resolved. The crew rectified the problem by digging 6" trenches and adding pipes and pop up drains where necessary as well as removing 2 large bushes that were a part of the drainage problem. A fantastic and very professional job. I would highly recommend them if you have drainage issues. They will come out, review the landscape and offer solutions and furnish an estimate. So happy to have found them!

Last year, I bought a brick ranch at foreclosure. I knew that the basement was a mess, but I…read morefigured that anything can be fixed - for the right price. My first call was to a well-advertised company here in the Midwest, but their bid (to put in a perimeter drain and put up a handful of vertical wall beams) was $26,500. I was gobsmacked. Next, I called JM Basements in Bunker Hill, and I was immediately impressed with Jeff and his son-in-law, Matt. They're both delightfully well-mannered, polite and knowledgeable. Within two minutes of his arrival, it was obvious that these two guys knew what they were doing and that they'd been doing this a long time. Jeff Mortland surveyed my situation and then sat down and added up a few numbers and presented me with a bid: $10,600. Jeff and Matt showed up right when promised and did a perfect job. And there's this too: They're both just really nice guys who care about their work and want to make sure the customer (that's me) is 100% happy with the finished project. Jeff Mortland is one of the most reliable contractors you're going to find, period. I was so very impressed with him and his company. BTW, I'm also an architectural historian and author of several books, and I wouldn't recommend JM Basement Waterproofing unless I trusted them implicitly.

Dustin was coarse and rude during the call, and without having seen my property, was quoting figures for the work. I set an appointment for "someone" to come out to look at the area in question. Unfortunately for me, "Dustin" was the one who came out. He was even more rude in person than he was over the phone. I am always puzzled by people in service oriented businesses who don't actually want to provide a service!? I cannot describe adequately in this space how rude, dismissive, and unprofessional Dustin acted at my home. BEWARE

My wife and I finally decided to get our basement fixed. We had constant water intrusion and…read moreserious foundation problems for year. I tried to get estimates for the work, but few companies even replied to my requests. One national company did come out and give us an estimate that was extremely high. With only one estimate, we decided to get financing to complete the job. Our credit union sent out an appraiser to determine the value of our house for the loan. The appraiser and I were talking while he was gathering information and asked me what the loan we applied for was going to be used for. I explained we were wanting the foundation repaired and he asked if we got an estimate from B-Dry. I had not heard of B-Dry, but I investigated them and decided to give them a call. Marc came out right on time and gathered the information he needed to put together an estimate, which came out to be half the price of the other company for the same work, so we went with B-Dry. On the scheduled day, they the job foreman called me to let me know they were on their way and what time they would be here (right on time). The crew showed up and got right to work. They were very respectful of our home and ensured they would not damage our hardwood floors. They began their job and discovered a minor issue. Marc showed up and consulted with the crew. Marc informed me the gas line would need to be moved in the basement. With my approval, they called a licensed plumber out and got the line moved with no problem. Work continued. Things progressed quickly and efficiently. One of the crew members told me about the experience and relationship of the crew and that it was impressive that a company retains experienced people that care about the quality of work they do. This entire process took less than 2 weeks, and I could not believe the difference from start to finish. We have had several good rainstorms since the work was done and have not had a drop of water in the basement, plus they were able to push our walls back into shape, ensuring a solid foundation. I have had plenty of experience with "building contractors" and this company ranks at the top of the list for quality vs. cost, professionalism, and following through with their game plan to achieve the goal.

If you choose a company, other than B-Dry, you're essentially paying more to cover the cost of their advertising efforts, to persuade you to pay for their excessively priced products and services! We had every intention of seeking more bids after our meeting with Marc Cooper, to explore other similar companies. Well, Marc's eloquent presentation of B-Dry's products and services convinced us that it would not be necessary! We felt incredibly at ease in making the decision right then and there that B-Dry was the perfect choice for us. Matt called ahead, as promised, to confirm his crews arrival time. Matt, Cody, Tim and Jordan immediately took ownership of the 2 projects, the egress window and the interior water proofing, which includes the floor drain system. We are selling our house this year. With the addition of the egress window in the basement, we can now advertise the house as having three bedrooms. This initial minimal cost will lead to a substantial return on our investment, which will be realized upon the sale of the house. B-Dry also installed new window well systems, with drains and lids! I highly recommend B-Dry solutions for all of your waterproofing needs. Matt, Cody, Tim, and Jordan are incredibly meticulous in their attention to detail! They installed the egress system in less than a single day, leaving ample time for their next task. The guys were very respectful of our home and our yard. It was evident that Matt, Cody, Tim, and Jordan were genuinely invested in providing an exceptionally positive B-Dry customer care experience. Ron and Laurel.
