Wow here we are years later and still have much of the same issue just trying to get a quote. Love when a what seems to be super sweet sales person ducks out on u. She must not like money or small money only the big 10k plus customers. Been waiting for a week for quotes called to get told oh there was a possibly issue could u confirm im sorry but did u not have our email address? U could have emailed to ask that on Monday when u said u would sent the quote. This is Friday told her to just send it anyways and i would deal with the question at hand got told she would have them to us by lunch this was 9:20 am!!! 3 pm still nothing. Call back get a voicemail with NO NAME left a message with an alternate email and here we are 4:20 and still nothing. I see the lovely Danille has not changed in many years! Guess we will be finding someone who is local and small who actually appreciates its customers. Heaven forbid Lowes and Home depot probably still use this lack of communication NATIONAL company. We are currently remodeling our kitchen. I knew exactly what material and color I wanted for our countertops, we went with Calacatta Gold and we absolutely love it. We went through Home Depot for our selection but Stone Interiors are the ones who came to measure and install. I had a couple mishaps with communication over the phone, but no one's fault but my own. Stone interiors went above and beyond to explain every step of the way. The installers, Rick and Jordan, came today to install our countertops and they were the most knowledgeable and friendly people!! They answered all my questions and even gave me ideas on backsplash. The absolute worst customer service ever. I should have known from the beginning that this wouldn't have been a pleasant experience when we walked through the door. The staff is VERY unfriendly and unwelcoming, but I figured it was due to a young staff and not the color of my skin (red flag #1). I worked with Danielle Phillips who gave me a quote pre Hurricane Ida, but due to the storm and damage to our property, we couldn't move forward. Post storm we went back to the showroom to discuss the countertop that we desired, but Danielle was too busy to meet with us (red flag #2). The next day I received an emailed from her with a quote for something I did't request. When I informed her that wasn't what I requested, she responded with a rude comment. After sending her the quote, she sent the correct quote. After paying the 75% deposit for the corrected quote, we met with the measurement guy and waited to be contacted by Danielle with the date the installer would be there to install the island countertop. Instead of contacting me, she sent me an email with a $5k increase in price. No explanation, no anything. I responded to the email letting her know that nothing changed in our request from what we originally requested and the new quote sent to me. Of course, I got not response. The next day I spoke with the desk administrator and informed her what happened, and was told that John would contact me. Instead of John contacting me about the transaction, I got an email with a receipt stating that my transaction was refunded. read more

Reallyyyy slow. Ordered in early March and received countertops in mid-April (only after I pointed out that I had placed my order on March 7th and the timeline would be 5 weeks). Was originally told it would be 2-3 weeks. My countertops, however, do look nice and were installed well. read more

I bought granite countertops at Home Depot, and they contracted the instillation out to Stone Interiors. I had to wait a long time for someone to take measurements. They kept waiting until they would be "in the neighborhood," rather than coming to the neighborhood for my project. The instillation seemed to go well, but when they finished I noticed that two things were damaged in my kitchen. They installed the granite countertop too far to one side, and they created a gap between my dishwasher and the base of my center island. Foam insulation is showing. They also chipped a couple of my drawers. The installers left without mentioning these problems. When I called, I was promised that someone would come to fix the damage the following week. No one came. I called multiple times and wrote multiple e-mails. It took more than three weeks to get someone on the phone. I am still waiting for the repairs to be made, so hopefully they will redeem themselves a little bit. read more

I called Stone Interiors just starting to look into getting new counter tops. I was unsure about a big purchase at the time and unsure about what I wanted. The salesman was so helpful in bringing my ideas to life. I went ahead with the order. I was contacted the next day to schedule my measure. The measure tech came out a few days later and was thorough,went over everything with me and was very professional. Now the installation is what I'm most happy about! It's everything I've dreamed of. We tried to work with Stone Interiors but they were uncooperative; they balked when we asked to see the slabs of marble, granite, and man made stone they were to install , even though by their contract we had to sign that we approved the slabs. When we demanded to see the slabs the owner became rude and insulting. In his words, we were too picky and he didn't want to work with us. At that point we asked for our deposit back and walked away. There are many good marble fabricators in New Orleans. Use one of those. read more

Ordered our granite through Lowes. Stone interiors the fabricator was prompt in coming out to measure. A few weeks later we were sent a picture of the exact slab. We approved (loved) the slab. Right before our install date Stone Interiors called and needed to pick up our sink to use as a template (our cat chewed the templet) fast forward to the Monday before the install date of Friday. Stone interiors calls and said that the slab was "not big enough" because it was a remnant! A remnant?? We did not pay a remnant price. She explained that it was still a slab of granite. Yes, but Stone Interiors are the experts and should have known if the first piece would fit before they sent the original picture. She then sent a picture of the "new slab" and it was blah! So we did not approve. By this time we are at 8 weeks and still no countertops and it would be another few weeks before installing so we cancelled the order. Lowes promptly returned our money. Lowes called Stone interiors on Friday to see about them returning our sink. They told Lowes it would be returned to our house the following Monday or Tuesday. Stone Interiors called this morning (Monday) and said they would bring back the sink at the end of the week. We need it by tomorrow, as I am writing this review Lowes called stone Interiors and the sink will be returned this afternoon. Thank you Lowes! and NO thanks to Stone Interiors! We were baited and switched twice! read more

I have worked with a number of stone companies when doing renovations to my house. Stone Interiors is easily the worst. They do more stalling than installing. Home Depot promises 2-3 weeks to install. It was 5 weeks for mine and that was only because I drove out to St. Rose to get them moving when they wouldn't call me back. Then when I finally get an install date, they tell me they don't do plumbing or electrical so you have to disconnect and reconnect everything yourself. All they want to do is lay the stone on your cabinets and leave. They are not true installers. I have never had these issues with other stone companies. I suspect it is because they don't want to pay for the insurance. But of course they are no cheaper than any of the others and they charge you the same to install and do less work. The installers were less than courteous. Don't bother with these jokers. Renovations are stressful enough without adding this nonsense to it. read more
