I've been contemplating shutters for my oversized front windows for years, but always thought I wanted wood. After having the house painted last year, I decided it was time to pull the trigger. And I talked to a couple of companies about wood but ended up going with LAC and storm rated aluminum shutters. I talked to Roddy in sales in early December and he came up with a couple of different price quotes for me. I know standard colors would be cheaper but I really was set on my custom color so I asked him to NOT tell me what plain white or black or whatever would cost. Only to give me custom color quotes. I made the down payment in December. I received a custom color swatch in the mail... in January I think. Which I had to initial and send back. And the shutters were ready last week. We arranged for an install date on Friday. They look amazing!!! I had to be at work but my neighbors were messaging me about how amazing they looked while the install was happening. The custom color is great! The shutters are easy to operate and the storm bars look easy to install. The installers were respectful of my house and were fast! Asked after installation 4 years ago about the service and product quality, but you need some time, storms, 100 degree summers and wear and tear of everyday use to evaluate true quality, follow up service and value. I have been waiting for weeks for LAS to contact me about issues with my gutters. No response thus far. I went to the office 2x and showed them the video of potential major damage to my foundation. Poor quality, poor service, and general lack of respect for customers. In addition, under the carport they rehung the swing which fell to the ground with my 84 year old mother. They hire clueless, inexperienced employees. In addition, one of the workers took a check from my mother for $5000.00 because he said he could do it cheaper. LAS got involved and fired the employee. We have a two story house had siding installed, gutters replace (they look horrible- terrible paint discolored, and purchased 4 Bahama shutters. In the backyard we have a screened in porch and they hung my preexisting lanterns off center and it looks ridiculous. No eye for design, no knowledge of the physics of water flow. Definitely would not recommend. The siding is actually made of the cheap plastic. Although, I do like the shutters and would consider adding a long wall of shutters to enclose the back of the large carport on the side of the house. In conclusion, do your research and consider cement boards instead of cheap materials. CALL ME! You have number! read more

LAS was first class from initial contact to final installation. Further, the office staff was most helpful and easy to work with. We had interactions with Jason Brannon, our salesman, Fallon, Stacey and our installer, Ruben. Everyone was very professional and most helpful. The LAS employees went out of their way to accommodate us. Ruben was fabulous. He took his time to install our shutters the right way. He had to go back to the offic e during installation to get a different bracket. Thankfully, he didn't try to force the one he had. We had a whole House of windows replaced by this company; we were satisfied with those. At the same time our back door was replaced by them as well. It came unfinished (this wasn't communicated to us before instillation-we chose a color so you would think it would be finished) and also installed with multiple nicks in the door. My husband has attempted to contact twice and has not had a response regarding all the nicks; It's been over two years. Complaint Type: Product Issues Description of Complaint: We ordered 2 sets of shutters in December 2019. We put a 1225. Deposit towards 2450.00 total. It was suppose to be installed between 4-6 weeks. We could not get in touch with them for 3 months. We finally got through in April. They came in late April to install. They did not fit properly. They came out four times and were not able to fit them properly. The style was also not what I ordered. They would send the same shutters each time in an attempt to trick us. I called upper management many times and they were so rude. The only way compensation we received was 300.00 off our bill. I still don't have the product I ordered. It does not fit properly. They refused to give me the product I originally wanted. The managers were extremely rude and intimidating. I feel the are trying to take advantage of senior citizens during a pandemic. I don't want this to happen to anyone else in our community. My wife was so nervous with these men yelling at her. We gave up. Taking advantage of an 80 year old couple is unacceptable. read more

They came out and started installing my windows. It was scheduled for 3 days. They had all 14 windows installed in one day. It started pouring rain and they still worked right through the rain. They were on time and the windows are perfect. I have had my new windows for 4 days now and I am already saving energy. My NEST thermostat is telling me its only running about 3 hours a day now instead of 8-10. THANK YOU LAS for finishing a very hard project. Did I mention the windows being replaced were embedded in concrete and have been there since 1945??? SUPER great job LAS!!! read more

I could not be happier with the service I received from LAS. From the salesman who worked with me on my order to the installers put in my windows, everyone I dealt with there was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was having major issues with my old windows, especially with letting all the cold air out during these hot months. WORSE company I have ever used. Save your self a lot of stress and disappointment by not calling them. Half the payment up front but they didn't even order supplies until after date carport should have been installed. They lied several times, don't return phone calls, and the list goes on . my job was completed over 200 days past the due date. and upper management is rude and also don't follow through on what they promise you. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you choose to use them get everything they say in writing , especially any dates they tell you, and have them sign it. If you need to reach them you may want to skip the phone calls and just drive there. Great products, good price and the sales person was easy and friendly to work with but the service department needs a ton of help. You call and they send you to voicemail with a message that someone will contact in two business days, why not the same day? Tried the email request also no response. I am a three time purchaser from this company, Bahama shutters, roll downs and a patio cover. I own a telecommunications company and if I found out a customer requesting service was sent to voicemail during normal business hours it would be the last call they transferred. BTW the five attempts have been over a three month period. read more

Ordered a patio cover on 11-4-16 with salesman who did state that it would be 2-3 weeks for another guy to come measure, (didn't he just measure?)then another 2-3 weeks for the parts to come in. I called to follow up and they said the "patio guys" are off for the next 2 weeks so it wouldn't be installed until a few more weeks. It was the holiday season, but I wanted to have a holiday party with a patio cover. Payments sure were processed though. January 10-I get a voicemail that says they will be there this week to install. January 13--I come home from work and find it installed. February 2-phone call--hey how did it go and how would you like final payment applied. The same way the others were applied. I was convinced that Spanish cedar was the look I was going for until Garett Wibel, the Sales Consultant showed me a life long aluminum product that would simulate a wood look that I was trying to achieve. LAS salesman did a very good job providing the necessary details on products to obtain our order. Once the order was entered and paid (down payment), the company has FAILED in all expectations of the contract promises made. DO NOT BELIEVE the 6-week installation promise. We are still waiting after 9 weeks for installation. I have contacted the company 3 times requesting an update....am told that they will check with manufacturing and get back to us.....NEVER A CALL BACK!!!! If they did not have 1/2 of our money already, I would cancel the order due to VERY POOR (non-existing) CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had vinyl coated aluminum siding installed back in 1990. Workmanship was good. Salesman touted the 40 year warranty. Now as siding is shedding vinyl. LAS states : "That was a manufactures warranty. And they went out of business in 1995......SORRY". read more

LAS was a great company to work with when replacing all windows on my home. We had original wood windows from the 1960s. We appreciated the charm they brought to the home but the efficiency was poor and needed replacing. Matt from LAS came out to give us a quote and worked with me and advised me on the best price but also my desire to maintain the charm of the wooden paneled windows. He was honest that the turn around time would be lengthy and they were right on schedule with what was estimated. The Install team was professional and pleasant to have in my home for two days, Josh and Ryan. The were communicative with an issue and working with the main office were able to get it resolved. The quality of the products (major difference in efficiency already noticed 1 month in and aesthetic is top notch) met with the professionalism of the team was well worth the investment. These windows have been in for over 5 years now and we couldn't be happier with them. We live in a Condo and LAS Enterprise windows were a little more expensive than the other window places around town but the quality can not be matched. Those windows cut our Electric Bill in half in the middle of a hot New Orleans summer. 3 large windows, 2 average windows and they replaced some French Doors with a single door and side window in one day. About 8 hours total. They were respectful and cleaned up after themselves. We used to be able to hear the street noise from Clearview Pkwy with no problem. Now unless it's the firetruck or Ambulance I don't hear a thing on Clearview Pkwy anymore. Unless it's literally storming I don't even know it's raining. Very happy with the results of going with LAS Enterprises even though they were a little more expensive than the other window companies over the last 5 years. read more
