I had no idea what JUMP was all about, but I had to find out after seeing all these great pictures. Luckily our walk on day one took us right past the place and my curiosity was peaked, so we stopped to explore. The campus is massive, housing a restaurant, office buildings, an amphitheatre, creative outdoor seating venes, a huge climbing structure and of course, the slides! We showed up when things were closed, but the climbing structure is always open for play time and my kids were too happy to oblige. We noticed signs for the free summer concert series which happened to start that Friday, so we made plans to return, and what a scene that was! The whole community was out, hanging all over the place, and vibing with the great band. Inside there was a small cafe and bar serving up tasty shareable bites, and the line was constant. I jumped in to grab some wine and a canned cocktail, both local and at reasonable prices! Within JUMP there's a lot to offer. If I lived here, this would be my jam for meetings and team building, or just some creative fun. It felt like the place had endless potential! Oh yeah! The slides! YOU WANT TO GO ON THIS SLIDE! It's crazy to think you're sliding from the top of a parking garage, but damn is it fun! The slide is fully enclosed and the tunnel is lit up. You really have no idea where you are and it's hard to believe how fast you descend. I did it once and wanted to race back up. There is a height minimum so make sure to check that out before you head up. The slides are open during the concerts and on their own schedule so just check it out!

First of all, the venue is spacious and works perfectly for a large event. The venue provided breakfast, lunch, and appetizers, and drinks everyday of the conference and the food was amazing. It was the best food I've ever had at conference. They had homemade potato chips and bread. Wonderful desserts and pastries. The first day we had salmon bowls with rice and veggies they were delicious! Everything is top notch and I hope they decide to hold next year's conference here.

Everything about my experience working with them in wedding design and planning was superb. Their design talent is evident to anyone driving by their well-decorated showroom windows or browsing their posts online, but I want to write more deeply about the planning process, and how smoothly everything went during the nine months leading up to my ceremony at the Cathedral of the Rockies and reception at the Boise Train Depot. As a long-distance bride, I worked with both Kristin and Teresa via Skype sessions about once a month leading up to the wedding, and we corresponded via email in between. Kristin managed my day of coordination. She offered great venue insight - guest experience, sound and lighting quality, time of day and season, and many other considerations that never would've occurred to me without her expertise. It was so valuable to be able to discuss Pinterest and other wedding ideas, and work through the planning timeline together. Her guidance was spot-on and her follow-up was unparalleled - whenever she said she would have something complete, it was complete. Teresa managed my wedding design. She created and updated my personalized virtual design board with colors, centerpieces, flowers, and every other detail possibly imaginable. She even helped me find a new bouquet just weeks before the wedding. I thought it would be nice to have some childhood pictures, but didn't have time to print the them - Teresa took care of it. Her graphic designer created some signage that coordinated with the font and style of my invitation. She took copious notes during our conversations, and managed all the detail tremendously. I was lucky to arrive in Boise about a week before my big day. The three of us met to walk through the day, confirm final details, look at my complete table setting, and checkout the Etsy items I had mailed directly to Bliss. Kristen completed all of the vendor confirmations - it was such a huge relief to know everyone was onboard with the day's events without contacting them individually. At the rehearsal Kristin gave everyone in the wedding party a timeline with events for the next day, so there wasn't a question about who should be where and when. I was able to truly relax and enjoy the evening. My wedding day was idyllic. Teresa and Kristin are the wedding masters. The Cathedral and the Depot were both sublime. The flowers were stunning. All of the big moments happened on time, and all of my guests had a great time, which was especially important to me since 75 of them had travelled from out of state. I couldn't have asked for more competent, creative, savvy wedding-day dream team. My husband and I are still in awe of our wonderful wedding day. Thank you, Bliss!

On another note, I was at the place for a summer BBQ. The people that run the facility have a house on the property. Not only did they come over to the party and help themselves to the food and beverages...one of them got sloppy drunk...they sat in their backyard watching the party and the invited guests. The people having the party didn't know them and didn't invite them to be a part of it, they just included themselves as guests. Very weird.

I also attended a holiday work party. As a host, I had everything I needed to pack the house for a dinner in one case and a speech by a celebrity news anchor in the other. As a guest I found the space a little too bright for a festive gathering. I think the organizers just didn't know how to set up the lighting correctly because at the other events we took advantage of the accent lighting to highlight a speaker and information/book signing tables. Bar services are available through the sister company, the Modern Hotel. I wish the kitchen were bigger because I think it was a little hard for our caterer to plate up in the little space they have. The managers are supper helpful and flexible. And believe me, this is key when you are dealing with a chaotic events planning committee or a picky mother-in-law when you are planning your event or wedding reception!
