I was hoping we could get our nails done together, but there was only one technician so our services had to be done separately. Initially that was a bit disappointing but the technician was so friendly and easy to talk with that it more than made up for it. I got my nails done while my daughter was having her massage, then waited while she finished her nail appointment.

The Coconut Exfoliating & Firming Body Treatment was just a seated/ slightly reclined body rub down with a scrub and warm towels to wipe it off. Not sure what was the firming part but I didn't see any results of that. And with any spa treatment I've ever had it always consisted of a massage at the end regardless of if it's a light massage, a brief massage or something but not this one. Don't waste your money on this if you're looking for a relaxing or rejuvenating type of spa treatment. They should tell people this is just a seated/reclined body scrub and nothing else.

Nonetheless, the experience was smooth, and I will certainly go back. What I enjoyed is how clean and how presentable the space was as it felt like a very luxurious experience as soon as you step in the door. I loved that the wine came in a crystal glass and not just a disposable cup. This made it feel like a real catered experience as opposed to a borrowed experience. Of course, each service is a few more dollars higher than most other places, but the experience is well worth it. Once we return, we intend to take a step up on the menu and indulge in more experiences at Luxe.

We both enjoyed a glass of white wine which came with a chilled wine glass, that was a nice touch and the massage chairs were great and had a ton of settings to adjust your experience. It was the end of winter so I wasn't super worried about what my feet looked like. The last 2 times have been horrible, this is a $60 pedicure. I got about 2 minutes of foot/leg massage (total) and he left me sitting with thick lotion on my legs for almost 10 minutes in the middle of the pedicure while he got about 6 towels, paraffin wax, and some rocks that weren't even hot anymore by the time he rubbed them on my legs a couple of times. I sat for about 10 minutes afterward and wore flip flops so this awful paint job isn't from my shoes. I won't be back.

I don't typically treat myself to pedicures, as I have very ticklish feet and end up getting headaches from typical places. This was such a surprisingly pleasant experience. It was later in the day and with St. Patrick's Day coming up I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get in to a place that wasn't busy. I looked up nail salons close to the catoosa area since I wanted to stay close to home and not get into Tulsa. Out of the ones that pulled up this looked like the best match for me to try so I called ahead and made a reservation for later in the day. Nails Gl'amore is in a strip mall shared with Mazzios, Subway, Flo's Burgers and China Bowl facing the road. (Just in case you get hungry after you get your nails done) I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked to pick out a color and have a seat in a massage chair. This is where all the magic started! I was offered a choice of wine, (white or red) or water. White wine please!! They set my foot tub up with warm water and handed me a book of options to enhance my mani pedi service. I opted to get the deluxe service for both. Andrew and Shayla, the husband and wife team that own and operate this nail salon went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and were constantly asking me if I needed anything or if I needed anything. Andrew spent a great deal of time on my feet, applying the masks and hot towels and then gave me the absolute best leg and foot massage I've had in a while. I liked that he didn't rush the massage like some places that rub your skin a few times and then are done. He spent time working on my legs, pointing out the knots I had in some areas and working those out with precision. His wife asked if I would like another glass of wine..yes please!!..and then it was time for my arms to receive a scrub and a moisturizer service before starting on my nail service. After all of this pampering it was time for the normal nail routine for my shellac service. Painting, lights, painting, lights...perfection! I have to say that my nails look great, my arms and legs feel relaxed and refreshed. I spent a lot of time talking to Andrew and his wife about so many things that they feel like family. I will definitely be seeing them again not only for my nail service but Andrew does neck and head massages as well so o may have to check him out for that! If you are close by or even if you're not....take the time to come out and see them! You will NOT be disappointed!!!
