She analyzed what had previously been done with my hair and was able to correct everything. When I say precision cut, she performed that aspect so well that I am able to wash and style my hair because she cut it so that it all falls into place. She also took into account that my hair is thin. I had been told by a $$ stylist before her that I would not be able to have a specific bob cut that I had picked because my hair was too thin. Erika proved that person wrong. She took into account that I do not have deep pockets and chose not only the colors for my hair, but, she also performed the foiling so that I would be able to extend the amount of time when I would need to come back for touch ups. My daughter, husband and I all agree that this is the best cut and coloring I have ever had. It fits perfectly with my face and my lifestyle. Do yourself a favor and book your appointment with her!

I have been able to get anything done to my hair that I wanted, they do it all here. Not only do they offer a variety of services, but the stylists take the time to know you and know your hair! They are very helpful with knowing what will work for your hair and what won't. They stay current by attending 'hair shoes' and conferences several times a year. These ladies know what's up. In particular, Lisa Felts (co-owner) is an amazing and gifted stylist. I have been going to her for 15 years and I have never been disappointed.

I found Hair Connections on Yelp with great reviews so I called and Shelly got me in, even with her very busy schedule, in just a few days. Shelly did a great job cutting and coloring my hair, made me feel good about how I look again and provided some much needed therapy. I feel like I have found my stylist and made new friends here. So I wasn't sure if I wanted to write this review, but after two bad experiences I decided to…read morechange my mind 1. The Salon is clean and nicely decorated 2. Where they went wrong is that I specifically ask for highlights and lowlights. I am a natural blonde and I get my hair done every 6-8 weeks. It's super low maintenance and is very easy to do. Instead the girl insisted on highlights with two different toners.... For someone who washes their hair everyday due to allergies, toner does simply not work unless you just want to use one at the end, but it does not work as a primary color. With in 3 weeks it will all be completely washed out... I know this because I used to work at a Salon in Boston. So what ever, I let her do what she wanted.. which ended up costing me way over $300. What I should have had was a simple full highlight and lowlight with a hair cut. What I left with was almost more like a balayage, with two different toners and a cut, which I ended up having to come back the next day because the toner was very very warm. They charged me for "specialized blonding" and the two toners. What funny is that they said the next time I came in it would be less and they would just charge me for highlights... ummmmm 3. I lived in Boston for three years and the most I spent there was $340 for a mid level stylist who had been doing hair for about 8 years..... I was charged over that for my "special blonding"... that I didn't want, and the toners, and hair cut. Now the girl who did my hair has only done hair for FOUR years. I found this price INSANELY HIGH for someone who hasn't done hair for very long, and for living in OK. The next month I went back to my old hair stylist who I used to see, got my hair cut and highlighted with an olaplex treatment for $115. This is someone who has done hair for 20 years vs 4. Now moving onto my husband. 1. So we are expecting a baby, and I suggested him finding a barber closer to our house. I thought well, maybe there barber would be good. His haircut was so bad. Honestly I had to end up fixing it because it was not blended in the back. The barber was relatively new and charged the same price as my husbands very experienced barber charges. All in all, they overcharge for the knowledge that some of stylists have. I would suggest going elsewhere honestly. The photo that has the straggle hairs is from the barber.. the one that is nice and blended is after I fixed it. Yikes

I'm less annoyed by the whole situation. When you're a two person operation and one of you is taken sick, it's a legitimate reason to close shop for the day. --------------------------- 8/24/17 Pros: My aesthetician has amazing hair. It's thick and healthy and always looks amazing. Recently, she posted a photo of a new hair color and credited this salon. I just had to go here because she is my hair aspiration. Cons: First, I tried to book an appointment via FaceBook. They never ever responded. So I got their number from my aesthetician. I texted them and they texted back the next day. They didn't have any appointments the following week, but were able to fit me in two weeks later. On the day of my appointment, 1.5 hours before I was to arrive, they canceled due to an "emergency." They offered the reschedule and I responded that I was available any time that day or the next day. Never heard back. Finally, I just texted them that I was able to find a more convenient appointment at a salon near my home. Never heard back from them. Disappointing. Basically, if it were up to me, they would get no stars for the lackluster customer service. However, I have seen their work (my aesthetician's hair) and I can see they probably do good work. Also, my aesthetician tells me they are a very small operation; husband and wife duo. Hate slamming a local business on Yelp. So I gave them a mediocre rating.
