The owners were very relaxed about my friend's toddler who was attempting to rampage around the place and kept having to be restrained. I would imagine it's very good for family visits. The food is fine (although I do prefer the other cafe but it depends on your taste) and there are special themed evenings from time to time which they advertise on their blackboard outside.

Easily accessible off the a1 with free parking and I can even do my weekly food shopping in the farm shop. The thing i love the most about brambles coffee shop are the daily specials and the brambles club sandwich. this place has a wonderful atmosphere, not like you usual fast food coffee shops, more like a restaurant but with very cheap prices. you can eat and drink for under £5 easily and be well fed with huge portions. In summer you can not beat sitting outside in the sunshine at brambles. this place can get extremely busy and must do tremendously well. thats why they have decided to build a large extension i suppose but it just shows what good friendly service, good comfy atmosphere and good value tasty food can do. I can highly recommend the paninis or the prawn salad. the salads are very large so go hungry first.

We hid from the rain this little cafe and ordered some excellent fry ups. Two of us had the standard English breakfast while Dan went for the large version which contained a serious amount of meat. I really enjoyed mine. The line up was scrambled egg (you get to choose you egg type), sausage, bacon, black pud, beans, tomato, mushrooms, hash brown and toast. My toast could have been more toasted (it was still pretty much bread) but everyone else's looked good so I think it was a blip. I had a latte too which was good. It's waitress service to order but they were not in any rush to come over so if you are hungry I'd suggest heading up to the counter.
