The next day gave me a price then added on the heat service was phenomenal quality of the service with dynamite. The value was right there you couldn't get any better. I highly highly recommend these guys. They know what they're doing and at a fair price you won't be ripped off what's not to like about energy wise builders, Messina, New York.

Here is my experience with this company. I asked them to install a propane heater in my home. The…read moreheater they installed was unvented which as the instruction manual stated, is unsafe to be left unattended in a sleeping space which is where it was installed. Now, I will take some of the blame here as I could have researched the heater they planned to install before they did it. However I believed I could trust their professional recommendation to be safe for use which it was not. They told me in order to replace the heater I would need to order one myself and they would replace it for me. I did so, at additional cost. The new heater smelled like gas immediately after installation. I texted them to ask if they had checked for gas leaks and received no response. About a month later, the heater stopped working and the whole house smelled like gas. I asked again about fixing it and was told it was not under warranty and they could take a look but would bill me more for it. Since I had lost confidence in them I said no. If you already know a lot about heaters including which one you need and how to maintain it they may be able to install it for you, but if you aren't already an expert I would look elsewhere.

I had just moved to the area back in November of 2024. Trying to get my house ready for my elderly…read moreparents to move in, I hired Brad and Jess to build a ramp and to renovate my garage. I was deciding between tearing the garage down or trying to get the supports corrected. Brad said that he could save the garage and I agreed. I told them that I was looking for a clean enclosed finish. They said I would have to wait until spring for the outside to be painted though, and I agreed to that. Along the way they seemed to forget what a finished product looked like. The trim is not completed and the shelves that they offered to build out of scraps from decking that I already had, ended up being sloppily built with particle board. The crushed stone that they were supposed to put in for the floor, ended up being large rocks that I can't walk on. Jess even said that it was the wrong product, but they put it in anyway, while I was out of town. Along the way of these jobs, I had them work on some small jobs that I needed done. Practically every job they did, ended up a disaster. They ruined a brand new counter top by cutting it without asking me, and it was cut and cracked. They offered, and I agreed that they could fix it by putting in a butcher block cutting board. The cutting board is definitely not a butcher block, it is a make shift piece of wood, to try and look like one. I let it go, because this had gone on for over a month of them coming in my kitchen at all different times and sawing and making a mess. I just wanted them out of there. There are so many other instances, too much to list. The final straw was when they were fixing a leaky door. I texted and asked when they were going to work on it, because once again said they were coming and didn't show up. I am very patient and they would show up whenever they wanted, and leave after a short period. A lot of times because they didn't feel well or didn't have the correct tools. Anyhow, when I asked when they were coming to work on this project, I got a very rude text, swearing at me and blaming me for the leaky door. Then when I was offended , I was told by his partner, that he is human and everyone has bad days. This is unacceptable, to speak to a customer or anyone like that. I have bad days also, I am single handedly, taking care of my parents in their 80's, but I don't take it out on anyone. My house and yard have been left a mess and I don't want them back, because like I said, none of the jobs were completed correctly, some not completed at all. I realize that they are new business, but the mistakes they made were just carelessness. I feel like they are trying to take on more than they can handle. I hope that they get it together, and learn how to respect other people's property.

Total incompetence. No sense of responsibility for poor workmanship…read more All I wanted was to be able to replace an existing thermostat with a WiFi / cell phone controllable model. Instead what happed was the electrician, Josh, fooled around with the wiring to the 4 rooms controlled by that thermostat, departing on that day of service without achieving that goal and leaving me with one room without heat. When he returned on the following day with a colleague, more work with wires, in the end leaving me with 2 rooms without heat, a bypassed breaker switch, and a fryed $200 thermostat. He charged me $550 for this disaster. Now I have to hire a new electrician to repair the damage. Do not recommend for anything more than changing a lightbulb.
