I'm a bit amazed that a shop that's supposed to be all organic and local would stock Rhoddas cream…read morerather than a genuine local brand like Williams. You can buy Rhoddas (so-called) clotted cream in most supermarkets in London and it tastes of nothing. Williams' clotted cream tastes something like the cream I remember from my childhood in Devon in the 1960s/70s. Likewise why do they stock so much Healey's Rattler cider which, by all accounts, is an industrial cider which, just like Bulmers, Magners etc, is made from reconstituted apple concentrate, not real apples? There are some genuine Cornish ciders and not all the cider in the Farm Shop was from Healeys when I was there. More information about which cider is the genuine article and which isn't would be useful for customers I feel. When I visited there was a fair selection of fruit and veg along the lines of a typical organic shop. I have an allotment, so maybe I shouldn't comment any more than that. The meat (apparently from their own farm) looked nice although I didn't buy any. They also make their own wholemeal pasta. I bought some of their spaghetti and it was okay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Ginny who always welcomes you with a smile. Parking can be tricky but sometimes you can get a space a little further down the hill on the same side.

I have also got a dividend card which gets updated from time to time whenever i buy items. You get points everytime you go for shopping from there and when there are enough points you can redeem them which is euivalent to some points. There is everything they sell ranging from fresh vegetables, fruits, bakery items etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful, ready to be there whenever you need their help. I would rate this store as very good.

I went this morning to Morrisons supermarket in Pomphlett Road, Plymouth…read more Parking was difficult, as the spaces are very small, and on leaving I found it difficult to find the exit ! Inside the store was chaos, like a third world country. The queues for the few manned checkouts which were open were about 15 people long. I went through the Self Checkout, which was difficult as I had not done it before. The ladies who were helping there were pleasant and prompt despite being under a lot of pressure from customers. I had alcohol in my cart, and on leaving the store the alarm sounded, so I had to show my receipt and then return to get a tag taken off the bottle. I asked the ladies if the store was always chaos like this, and one of them told me that the self checkout area is horrible, and they all hate working in it. To crown it all, when I got home I found a little yellow tag on a top I had bought, which I did not see when I took the garment from the clothing area, and because I went through self checkout nobody took it off for me as would have happened in a manned checkout. I fear this means I will have to return to this horrible, horrible shop again to have the tag removed, but that will certainly be the last time I ever shop at Morrisons. This is most definitely a very badly managed store.

I've used the photo part many times and it saves time as you're there doing your shopping anyway! As with all supermarkets, customer service is very high on the agenda, and there are always plenty of staff hanging around the aisles who seem to know every minute detail about where everything can be found. At times it feels like some of these people should be on the tils, as cues can build up quite quickly, but still - you can't have everything I suppose.
