Ordered the classic cornish pasty with steak filling. And it was a fine pasty. But not the best we've ever had. The pasty could have been crispier, the filling a bit more spiced up. Did taste a bit bland. But recipes are different, tastes are different. It was good - but not great. Nice was the size, a really big pasty with lots of stuffing. It's really a whole meal for itself. All in all still a fine visit. The location was great, we enjoyed sitting down and to watch all the action.

The peppermint tea was light and refreshing, just perfect for a hot summer's day. The kitchen inside was a hive of activity, as more and more people descended on the tea rooms. Everyone was very friendly and the quality of the meat and produce was very high... the cider was pretty damn good too. A necessary bookmark for anyone going to the Jurassic Coast.
