Lloyd Maunders always have a selection of 'specials' as well as meat cut to order as well as cold meats. They have a range of speciality sausages and burgers and very very nice steak (in my opinion). The staff are very helpful and if you buy in bulk there is often a discount. Throughout the summer they have BBQ special packs and they do a lovely range of chicken with various glazes, to the point that I usually buy these each week. They are very yummy. You cannot fail to be aware of the shop as you walk past as they also have a section where you can buy hot meat sandwiches which are very mouth watering.

Everything is organic and is essentially a family run business. Devon Rose have a huge selection of meats including sausages, burgers, joints, cooked meats as well as seasonal game. The veal is amazing. You can enter competitions from time to time when frontman Richard challenges you to predict his running times in his races. Nothing is too much trouble - they will prepare your meat how you want it and even sort out special orders if needs be for something a bit different. Try the pastrami - it is nothing like the shop bought rubbish you've had in the past!
