Rather than remove them from said trees, I asked a sales lady, who spoke w manager. The sales lady returned and told me I had to return next week when they were 'replenished.' I could not 'strip' the tree. What!!!! Why would I return next week. I left the 3 ornaments and left, without buying the cofffee I intended to get. There were approximately 10 of each ornament hanging, with price tags on them . Silly me for thinking they were for sale!!! Wheaton's needs to review this policy. You just lost a very good customer.

If you're looking for a fantastic selection of coffees and teas for your Keurig you've come to the right place. But to me, Wheaton's is for country style furnishings, adorable baby items, handy dandy kitchen items and a great place to buy a housewarming gift or other present. If you have the time I definitely recommend going out to the Sackville store (or even the original store in Canning) for the real selection. This store is really just a gift shop with a few pieces of furniture. The other store is really where it's at, but this one is good in a pinch.

Yes the majority of the store focused on bathroom accessories, towels and shower curtains but as well they had bedroom duvet set, pictures everything. The Kitchen section was huge and great deals. Alot on sale and alot on clearance which was throughout the store randomly, it was great. I actually found those Yankee Car Sent things which are very hard to find and I got them three for $5.99. I really do like this store and can see myself going back for shower gifts or even presents for the girls as they have some really pretty things there. Picture frames are beautiful. If ever I fall into some terrible debt situation, it will not be because of the high price of…read moreeducation. No, it will be because I'm hopelessly addicted to home necessity stores like Bed Bath & Beyond. Like, seriously. I genuinely find it bewildering that the staff here don't instantly recognize me and let out a hushed, "Father's home..." as I walk in the door. I find myself in this store very often. Now, part of this is because I inherited a love for all things kitchen. Perhaps the greatest similarity between me and my mother is the fact that we both have an appliance or tool for pretty much any food thing you can think of. Need to crack and separate an egg at the same time, while keeping your hands clean? I've got you covered. Want to process a small amount of frozen banana slices to make ice cream? Use my mini food processor. (Use my regular food processor for larger batches.) Baking some cookies? Don't worry, I have enough Silpats for you to bake continuously for about five months. It should be obvious that a store like this is a clear danger to my bank account. Unfortunately, I have a car and no self-control. I should get to the actual review part of this: Come here if you're looking to get something for your home and don't mind paying a bit extra for it to not be Zellers quality. A dish rack at BBB, for example, can run between $18 and $80. (Which one do you think I own?) Come here if you're looking for some of the most random crap for your house that you had no idea was an absolute necessity. Like the cutting board that folds up a bit to make transferring chopped up veggies easier! Come here if you have some free time and love to fantasize about owning everything and how much better your life would be if you took the plunge and bought that $100 shower caddy. (THINK OF THE EXTRA SOAP SPACE!) Also, come here if you already went to Home Outfitters and they didn't have what you want. They're right across the street and you never know, right? Otherwise, just go to Wal-Mart or JYSK and be happy that you're saving a little bit of money. (Pro tip: Sign up for the newsletter and occasionally receive a coupon for 20% off one item.)

If you are looking for that gift that has that little something extra to it, have a look around. First the store is wonderful to browse through, there were two gals working when I went in, one named Carrie and the other Kayla. Both very pleasant and professional. A nice hello to greet me and then let me have a look around. This shop is new and carries, purses, artwork, jewellery, speciality items, they pretty much have all the basis covered here. But as I said , these items are not your average. One of my favourite things that caught my eye were things fabulous creatures called Sweet & Sour Gargoyles, they are made in PEI, and are worth every penny. The average was about $100.00. The artists that make these have fantastic imaginations. I want one! This is a must have for me, it is on my list , a collapsible water bottle in lots of colours, made by Vapur. This is freezable, dishwasher safe (top rack),rolls up, stands up when full, has a place to write your name on it, this is such a great bottle, is any of my family is reading this, guess what, you are getting one as a gift. These are only $11.99, a great deal. They also have in the back of the store a nice selection of baby gifts. There is a great item there, they are bears that you insert the hot water battle or cold. This store has lots of options for you to choose from. Kayla told me that they try to support the Canadian artists as much as possible. Most of the products they seek out are Canadian made. This alone is a reason to go to the shop and support it. I want to thank Carrie and Kayla for allowing me to take a few pictures, they were great and know their product lines. :)

Both Starbucks locations at these Chapters are forever busy, pumping out the java just as fast as the patrons, frothing at the mouth with blood shot eyes, can lap it up. I think the Dartmouth location offers a more relaxed sitting vibe and also seems like there is more attention paid to details, such as cleanliness. As for the actual factuals of this Chapter's location? I feel like it's more familiar. It just seems more relaxed overall. I know, around the holidays it's a mad house, but on the average day, I've enjoyed sitting in the aisles and pouring over words undisturbed. Don't you just love that you can read, like it's a library or something? There are some long time employees at this location, and their service can be pretty great. Chapters in Dartmouth (which is a part of the Mic Mac Mall), usually fits the bill perfectly and even combines book hunting with another of my favorite things, caffeine! Starbucks and Chapters have their usual partnership in this location, but be forewarned that the Starbucks is one of the busiest I've ever been in, line waiting is inevitable. Browsing is easy with clearly labeled shelves and the handy book searches available on the public computers. The inventory of books, magazines, games, CDs, DVDs, gifts and small home decorations is massive. Due to the large amount of stock and the general public's lack of knowledge about the ins and outs of the dewy decimal system, the staff have to be very keen and helpful which is perfect because they are. Hot Hint: Don't be afraid to ask to have any book that isn't in stock order in for you.
