Before sampling the chocolate here I was a huge fan of Purdy's. Not so anymore. The chocolate at Sweet Gestures is incredibly smooth and they have a large selection to choose from. The prices are high; but when you taste this quality chocolate, it doesn't seem quite so bad. How I wish they would branch out and put a location down here in the lower mainland. A few of my favourites include the strawberry cream, moca truffle, 2012, and the raisin cluster. Sweet Gestures, please put a location in Langley!

I found at least 6 types of garlic, all awesome looking replete with Scapes attached. Russian red was my favorite. Brought some back to the home we were staying at and roasted it -OMG so good. Their were artisan bread bakers, fresh honey, Mead which is like a fermented beer like substance made of honey and has an ABV of about 5%, different vinagars, Incredible berries, a massage booth, just an awesome market. I totally recomend a visit if you are up here in Summer. Not sure what they do in winter. There was music, it had a great energy and buzz to it. If you visit Cranbrook in Summer, its a must. Plenty of very good restaurants and bars in walking distance from this event as well.
