Additionally, it is a local company and non-transferable if you move out of their territory. They charge you no matter what! You can't get out of the contract despite the fact you live out of their service range, so you have to pay for years despite the fact that the people who move into the house are also paying them for the service. They promise to communicate regarding the situation, but never do. Double dipping keeps them well-paid. This is a shoddy business model. Their poor service along with monthly charges despite the fact they don't serve the area you move to makes them a very sketchy company. Go with a nationally known company.

I've never been anywhere where I could say that someone could be fired from their job the first week they were hired there. One used the "F" word and other cuss words that I could hear in my apt. Other residents heard her by the cafeteria, she was unprofessional infront of visitors, and was complained on to her supervisor several times. This was a year, or a year and a half, or more, and she wasn't fired but probably transferred. One time she was hurrying a resident into the building when the resident was being dropped off, so that she could open the front door when she wanted to. Obviously, the resident didn't do it. She wasn't recording important information and made statements to at least (as far as is known) one resident that could have wound up in an altercation. The same resident thought there was an argument in the lobby until she saw that it was this particular guard on the phone. There was another guard who'd follow a resident outside to see if she was smoking marijuana who out of his own mouth let it be known that (not verbatim) he didn't want to be bothered. Another was rude to an 80 something yr old resident. In other words this company or its supervisor is unprofessional.

I updated the system for access to open the garage doors and front door, turn the system off etc. I am not sure when this took place. I have no problem with the system it's self. I reached out to them when i decided to put my home on the market, they did inform me that a 30 day notice need to be sent to turn off the system. I put my house on the market the Thursday before Thanksgiving, received an offer on Friday and closed on the 10 of December. I did not anticipate this quick of a turnaround, especially since it was the holiday's. They kept the 83.00 and said that I should get around 20.00 or so refund. That is just not right. Having a security system for 20 years and am penalized because i did not give them a complete 30 day notice. I will never recommend Red wire security system to anyone in the US. Especially in Tallahassee Florida, the accounting department of red wire only care about money, I had this terrible experience on the 16th of December.

(Yes we owed a balance and paid late but we paid it in full) We have not had a working system in months and last call a repair guy showed up and didn't resolve the "door sensor". Our alarm triggers during working hours and continues to trip every 10 min after it has been disarmed. We offer spa treatments and have been completely embarrassed when this happens and have had countless complaints from our clients as their services have been disrupted. We stopped using the system due to the faulty alarm and just due to the hassle of it. They are trying to sue us for the cost of service for the next 5 years. We paid our outstanding bill of $370 in full and are being harassed daily by their aggressive collector. For the record we have not received one call from them prior to this and only one final notice bill in the mail which was last week after they sent us to this collection company. If I treated a client like that I'd be out of business.

They have been in business at this location a long time, maybe since the newer motel rooms of the old Bowman's Auto Court were converted into this strip shopping center. I had bought a property in December, and in January, I found myself repairing the house. As I was reviewing what needed repairs, I found out that I did not have a mailbox key. I called my realtor and she had no luck contacting the seller's realtor, so she suggested I go to the post office. I did just that and they told me to hire a locksmith. At any rate, in all this, my realtor recommended a locksmith to me, but they happened to be closed that day. If you know me, then you know I have no patience and that I want things done ASAP. Also, I hate leaving for tomorrow what can be done today. And well, the issue in all this is this happened on a day that some people have off as a holiday: Martin Luther King Jr. Day. So, here I was on a day I had off, hoping and praying to find someone open, so I could cross this off my to-do list and feel productive and I Googled and Yelped and found Jim. Jim was extremely responsive, reasonably priced, and he changed the lock on that mailbox so quickly that it left me speechless.
