It worries me because now I'm wondering what else wasn't done properly that I don't know about. I believe it stems from the work environment being a distraction. It seems toxic from the top down. Employees screaming at each other, clearly not getting along, and certain employees doing most of the work while others are on their phones. As someone in charge of my own employees, I know that in-fighting bleeds over into how well the job is completed. I also know that employees are only as good as the people who lead them. Leadership is non existent, instead I watched a manager belittle the work an employee had done. When the employee defended himself, the manager laughed. It appeared to me like the manager either had favorites, or had a series of bad days, and took his frustrations out on this one particular employee. I would never recommend this company. They are unprofessional at best.

Extremely different culture. They gave us all the excuses and run around. We called 2 weeks ago to inform them that we are ready. 3 weeks later, they said, "it will be a lot of work, permit is expired because it only last a year (??? - due to COVID this was extended July 2021), there's no copy of the zoning of this job so it will be a lot of work (???), we don't have your contact information (all our contact info is in front of all the doors of the building and how can they deal business and took thousands of dollars without contact info?), we're gonna have to charge you hourly (???) - I mean, for a NATIONAL COMPANY LIKE THIS - How can people operate like this? We need to talk to the people who actually knows what they're talking about and be responsible and decent to talk to! We have a contract to complete the job, paid in full. We are still waiting on what they're going to pull next. I am hoping this is a miscommunication in the transition. I will update my review with an objective summary and see what happen next...

During my research when looking at whole house generators, I learned it was important to go through a company that does all three- Sales, Installation, and Service. Tons of electricians will install a generator, but if something goes wrong down the road, your out of luck. So with L&L being a comapny that does all three, its a one stop shop and offers piece of mind. Jared Godwin from their Generator Division at L&L provided me a REALLY competitive quote for the generator and install, and he was excellent to work with. His installation team arrived on time and were also awesome to deal with. Very clean, did a wonderful job and anytime they've been back for routine service everything has been 100% flawless. The entire experience was so positive, I began getting approached by neighbors who were also researching generators, but after their research, they also had concerns with Generac's quality. So I referred them to L&L and now there is an entire subset of my neighborhood that are all L&L/ Cummins customers. The last power outage Jared Godwin reached out to several of us in the neighborhood just to check in and make sure everything kicked on and was working well. Really appreciate that cause you definately feel like its a company that cares about their customers and keeping them happy. Because his initial quote came in so competitively, I opted for a few choice upgrades- like extending the factory 5 year warranty out to 10 years and Cat-5 remote monitoring. That way if something goes wrong, my generator communicates with L&L and essentially orders its on repair. Thats also important because I cannot miss a service and inadvertently void my extended warranty. I hope my toaster doesn't get any ideas, cause I've never had an appliance order its own repair before, lol. Can't go wrong with L&L in my opinion, they have been fantastic for me and my neighbors.

The technician demanded cash ($300) to get the needed springs. We should have ended the deal right then. He returned the next day and installed the springs and collected another$300 via credit card. The door was working but making a terrible noise. he said he could fix that for more money. We declined. Today the side of the door that did not have a problem is totally torn apart and the door doesn't work at all. We suspect the wrong springs were used and have called another company to fix the mess.

We called Locke's on Monday morning, and by 10 am that morning the owner was at our home giving us a quote for a new system. No one likes being in that position, especially during the hottest part of summer, when you're worried about how expensive the repair or replacement might be. Locke's helped us work within our budget and gave us the best value we found. We got several other quotes, but Locke's offered the best combination of price, service, and equipment along with a great team behind the name. Our installation was scheduled for Friday, and the crew arrived at 7:30 a.m. ready to get to work. And work they did -- in 95-degree heat and 130-degree attic temperatures. Three men were on the job all day, and even when a storm moved in near the end of the day and briefly knocked out the power, they kept going and finished the installation. They also cleaned up as they worked, leaving the space neat when they were done. I cannot stress enough how neat and clean they left everything. Once the power came back on, they installed the thermostat and started up the AC. It was blowing cold and running so quietly compared to our old system. Even after the installation was complete, we still had a few questions the next day, and they came back on Saturday and answered everything thoroughly. We've had the system for a week now and are very pleased with both the equipment and Locke's service before, during, and after the installation. We highly recommend Locke's for your HVAC needs.
