James finish up the first part and we were told to "call them when we have the telephone line in and we can connect it to the panel, everything else is set". We paid in full and believe in good faith that things will go smooth. COVID hits we encounter delays. When we called to finalize, my staff called and speak to CHRIS and TODD! They are now PYE BARKER. Extremely different culture. They gave us all the excuses and run around. We called 2 weeks ago to inform them that we are ready. 3 weeks later, they said, "it will be a lot of work, permit is expired because it only last a year (??? - due to COVID this was extended July 2021), there's no copy of the zoning of this job so it will be a lot of work (???), we don't have your contact information (all our contact info is in front of all the doors of the building and how can they deal business and took thousands of dollars without contact info?), we're gonna have to charge you hourly (???) - I mean, for a NATIONAL COMPANY LIKE THIS - How can people operate like this? We need to talk to the people who actually knows what they're talking about and be responsible and decent to talk to! We have a contract to complete the job, paid in full. We are still waiting on what they're going to pull next. I am hoping this is a miscommunication in the transition. I will update my review with an objective summary and see what happen next...

During my research when looking at whole house generators, I learned it was important to go through a company that does all three- Sales, Installation, and Service. Tons of electricians will install a generator, but if something goes wrong down the road, your out of luck. So with L&L being a comapny that does all three, its a one stop shop and offers piece of mind. Jared Godwin from their Generator Division at L&L provided me a REALLY competitive quote for the generator and install, and he was excellent to work with. His installation team arrived on time and were also awesome to deal with. Very clean, did a wonderful job and anytime they've been back for routine service everything has been 100% flawless. The entire experience was so positive, I began getting approached by neighbors who were also researching generators, but after their research, they also had concerns with Generac's quality. So I referred them to L&L and now there is an entire subset of my neighborhood that are all L&L/ Cummins customers. The last power outage Jared Godwin reached out to several of us in the neighborhood just to check in and make sure everything kicked on and was working well. Really appreciate that cause you definately feel like its a company that cares about their customers and keeping them happy. Because his initial quote came in so competitively, I opted for a few choice upgrades- like extending the factory 5 year warranty out to 10 years and Cat-5 remote monitoring. That way if something goes wrong, my generator communicates with L&L and essentially orders its on repair. Thats also important because I cannot miss a service and inadvertently void my extended warranty. I hope my toaster doesn't get any ideas, cause I've never had an appliance order its own repair before, lol. Can't go wrong with L&L in my opinion, they have been fantastic for me and my neighbors.
