My second time in town on business so time to pay another visit. If you despise hanging out at the hotel, and need a place to unwind, this is your place. Last time I was here during the summer and patio was filled with people. Today, the patio is closed down but inside is just as good. Excellent bar selection of bourbon, scotches, beer, etc. Good selection of retail priced cigars. Oliva, My Father and many others. This will now be my "go to" when in town. This lounge is amazing. The decor, ambience and staff all top notch. We found Stogeez on Yelp and stopped by for cigars (amazing selection) on our way out of town for a hunt. Parking was easy place was (as I mentioned) amazing and the gentleman in the cigar shop helped us pick the perfect cigars. Next time I am in town this is where I will stop. read more

Yelp page says they're open until midnight but the sign on the store says they're open until 6 PM, so only a six hour differential. Clearly, these people are not serious about being a welcoming cigar lounge. Unfortunately I wasn't able to smoke at a lounge but, since I was here for some of the warmer days in the summer, smoking outside was an option. Weak sauce - hope other cigar smoking options pop up over time. read more

I'm visiting from Miami for work and decided to find a local cigar lounge while in town, what a mistake. I arrive at @stogeezcigarlounge, I have to say the ambiance looked nice. Another plus, they have a full bar. I ask about a cigar cut fee (as most cigar lounges in the country have), the young lady says they don't allow this "quoting a SD law", (which I have yet to find). I could only purchase a cigar from the cigar humidor which was closed or from their cigar menu, PRICES ARE 3X times what you would pay anywhere else. I guess they don't want anyone buying a drink and pay a cut fee. They lost a customer and monetary compensation for the extra drinks Myself and my coworkers would've enjoyed. read more

Highly recommend thisbplace. I've been in the area for work all week. Tried several old fashions at several bars around downtown. Wish I found this place earlier. I don't smoke but the old fashion is on point. And the ambiance is great! Good background music and friendly staff. Not too smokey and if the smoke bothers you there is an outdoor patio to get away from the smoke. Lots of good whiskeys to choose from. Well I found this place from a guy I met on instagram (yea I know weird). I came in and immediately was blown away by the view of the bourbon and whiskey selection they have on display. The staff is EXCELLENT they always checked on me and my glass was never empty. They were all very personable as well. The cigar selection is decent and more for beginners or medium smokers. Pricing is on the high side but I come from a different market where there are 6 lounges in 20 miles. There is a cigar store attached but they close at 6 so if your there at night they have a big humidor by hr bar. Average price is 11$ a stick. A bar you can smoke cigars in. My favorite. A great selection of spirits and draft beers. I use variety of bourbon and scotch. Friendly staff and a long bar with an outdoor patio. Convenient to downtown. The cigar store is collocated to the bar but closes at 6PM during the week. The selection is serviceable but may not have some of the premium brands you would find at a larger humidor. That's OK. You should find something there you like read more

Terrible experience and very rude staff. I DO NOT recommend this place. I'm a cigar lover, and as such, had developed a habit of stopping in for a drink and a cigar nearly every other night over the course of the summer. I usually bring along a cigar with me, as I buy in bulk from Eastwold (their connected cigar shop) during daytime business hours (I live only a block away so it's very easy to stop in). However on this occasion, rather than welcoming me, the first thing out of the bartender's mouth was, "Did you buy that cigar here? I've never once seen you buy a cigar here. You can't smoke that." This happened to be one of the few times I brought an "outside cigar" -- a limited edition cigar that a coworker gave me as a gift. I was honest with him that it was not from their humidor, but assured him that I buy from them all the time (in fact I bought over $100 worth of cigars from Eastwold just in the last month, and had even bought a bar cigar FROM THAT BARTENDER a couple weeks ago!). But the bartender clearly didn't believe me, and said, "This is the last time you get to do this." All while MY credit card is in his hand... Are you kidding me Stogeez? This is how you treat a loyal customer?? Especially a customer who gives you weekly business and always tips on every check (and yes I still tipped him after he said this to me). I'm not asking for a free pass on house-policy, but to be spoken to so rudely is unacceptable. It would be so incredibly easy to create a nightly customer out of me! I LIVE LESS THAN ONE BLOCK AWAY. What a horrible experience. I didn't even end up smoking my stick because I couldn't believe they would treat someone like that. I quickly finished my single drink and left. No bar who treats their "regulars" like this, deserves to have regulars. My buddies and I were even planning on having a "Two-Beer-Tuesday" tradition there every week... but certainly not anymore! Wow! Wow! Wow! I walked in here on a Monday night and bought a cigar. To be honest, the selection was only okay, but it's a cigar lounge that you can drink AND smoke in! Ten minutes into my cigar, the staff asked me if I was here for the tasting and I had no clue what they were talking about. So they explained that on the first Monday of every month, they do a tasting: $10 gets you a cigar, 4 whiskey tastings, and this time they also had 3 samples of Henry's Hard Soda (which I'd never had). Seriously... all that for $10!!! Attractive waitresses delivered the drinks to your table with a different one coming every 15 minutes or so and they also provided a printout of the tastenotes and history of each whiskey. The place had a nice ambiance, comfortable leather chairs, and a few TVs. The locals were friendly and the staff was helpful. If I lived here, this would be my go-to place. read more

Tim and Jamie have stepped up their game greatly since moving. The cigar selection is as good as any in a city twice the size. Tim has an amazing eye for Bourbon and Scotch and keeps a great mix of affordable to blend in with top shelf. Jamie has done a simply amazing job with the connected wine bar Bin 201. Recently brought a group of 20 for the private party room and everyone was impressed. In the group were two friends that have traveled all the great wine regions and could not believe the selection. In the group was a man whose father is an award winning Fromagier and he was let us all know how top notch the cheese was on the Charcuterie plate. The service is always flawless as the staff serve to the high standards that have been set by the owners. Walk in humidor which transitions into a cigar bar, which transitions into a wine bar (and you don't smell the smoke from cigar side) with a private party room. What is so nice is that all sections are separated by glass so you can see from one to the other. The outside patio is improving, that is one area that could have so much more done. If you are in town give Stogeez/Bin 201 a visit. read more

Stogeez is a pretty nice little cigar lounge in one of the more lively spots in Sioux Falls. They have a pretty limited selection in their humidor, however the cigar I had there was quite fresh. They also server drinks but have a pretty limited selection. The inside furnishing is comfortable and the wood interior adds a nice atmosphere for enjoying a "stogie". Also, there are two tables outside you can sit at. All and all a great place to visit in Sioux Falls if you're a cigar lover. read more

It's always a pleasure to find a place to enjoy a cigar while traveling. Rarely can you smoke inside these days...the thought police have lumped cigar lovers into the morass of cigarette smokers. I went to Stogeez on a date with a friend of mine from the area. She knows I'm a Brother of the Leaf (cigar smoker) so she suggested we check out this place. First, we went to the wrong place actually. Stogeez operates two establishments. One is a non smoking lounge with outdoor seating while the other down the block is a dedicated cigar lounge. Staff at both places were very friendly and very attentive. The liquor selection was excellent. Both had many premium scotches and bourbons. The seating in the cigar bar consisted of rather comfortable leather chairs and couches around low coffee tables. I found the atmosphere to be relaxed and classy if not somewhat intimate. When we went there it was a Saturday night, so the place was pretty busy. It is a rather small establishment so my date and I actually shared a table with some other gentlemen for a little while who ended up being quite friendly. Stogeez has a cabinet humidor which is reasonably well stocked. I thought it to be a bit small at first. In my city, all cigar bars are required to have full walk-in humidors, so I was a little surprised by this. However the humidor contained a first-rate, albeit small by my standards, selection of premium cigars that spanned most price points. I selected a Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature which was excellent. Judging from my cigar, the humidor is well maintained in both humidity and temperature. For my drink I ordered a Makers Mark 46 neat, of which I received a healthy pour at a reasonable price. I noticed that there was only one bartender working that night but he managed to keep the service fast and friendly. I was surprised that he was actually able to make the rounds occasionally and see if anyone needed anything. I was somewhat impressed. I'm told that Stogeez is the only cigar bar in Sioux Falls. Usually when an establishment is the only game in town it's not a particularly good thing. However, in the case of Sioux Falls, Stogeez is a fine addition to the nightlife in the area. read more
