My son on one of the bulls
    Suzanne S.

So much fun. I totally recommend coming here if visiting Texas especially if you have a kid. Truly got the Texas experience coming to the stockyards. Talked to the very knowledgeable people handling the bulls and they told us the story of why they do the cattle run. We watched the cattle run, had authentic Texas BBQ, and got my son a cowboy hat so he could sit on a real bull, and then ride the mechanical one.

My friend drove us to Stockyards Station from Dallas because she wanted to show us a different side of Texas. It was about 45 minutes to get to Fort Worth, so the drive wasn't too bad. There was a small farmer's market where vendors selling honey, fruits, boot jewelry, etc. We walked around a bit and saw police riding horses, statues, and stores selling touristy stuff. There were a lot of places selling boots that were high quality, but too expensive for me LOL. More shops were scattered in the interior of one building. They were selling knick knacks, beef jerky, and souvenirs. There are a couple of areas for photo ops and when I was there, there looked like local band singing live, so you have some music to listen to while you shop! The only thing we ended up getting was some honey and the guy selling it also gave us some fresh peaches too. While we were waiting for the cattle drive, we ate them- the peaches were so juicy and sweet! The cattle drive was pretty short, lasting only a few minutes. I thought the longhorns would walk a lot faster, but they were just moseying a long. I heard they usually have more of them before, but maybe because of the weather?? Also, my friend told me they would do some kind of show with them, so it was kind of boring to watch.

There's a nice breeze here. It must be station airy.

I needed a pair of socks. Should have gone to Sockyards Station. This is the place to come if you want all kinds of touristy kitsch stuff while you are visiting the famous Stockyards of Fort Worth which is one of the coolest parts of Texas. And also one of the most touristy. It's a super cool part of town and it has everything you might ever imagine that a massive gift shop in Texas would have. Or a gift mall really because there are so many different stores within this big mall type thing.

Love it! I love how this area. A lot of stores and things to do. Parking is not too bad either. The horseback riding was fun. Saw the rodeo and we had a blast watching it.

This was a really fun spot to walk around leading up to the Longhorn walking. There were many shops that were nice to walk through and I even found some really cute things! The longhorn walking was so interesting to watch, they're HUGE. This is a fun spot for the adults and the kids too !

If you've come down here to get a quick bite to eat at Riscky's BBQ, Haberno's or any other venue that would feature Tex Mex, burgers and BBQ while watching either the 11 AM or 4 PM Cattledrive, the Stockyards Station is for you. For those visiting for the first time, this isn't the entire stockyards area. Its just a large shopping venue located across the street from the petting zoo and cattledrive path for livestock to parade down E Exchange that is located within the Stockyards itself. There is a parking next to the Stockyards Station that ranges from $5-10 (depending how long you are there), yet there is also free parking directly across the street. Just be careful of the one-way exit out. Folks tend to run through that exit instead of circling all the way around just to get those free parking spots. If you have a huge appetite, there is nothing better than stopping at the Stockyards Station before beginning your night out in the Stockyards. If you are a meat eater, you will be in heaven! If you are a vegetarian, maybe not so much.

Loved the tour led by Ed Brown. Not only does he infuse humor in his càptivating stories and give great tips, his tour shows you a lot at a good place. Would love to go on another one. Highlight of my day because it gave us a better understanding of how innovative the Stockyards are and how they have evolved.

I'm from California and I asked my friend to take me to the place that is very Texas vibe. And she did. It was a lovely place to shop and walk around. There's bars and restaurants. Surprisingly there's shake shack too. They said it's best to go there if there's a parade. There wasn't when we were there though or prolly we missed it. This is a nice spot for the tourists.

I love coming here! I was actually married here and it was a fantastic ceremony. The restaurants and shops make this an amazing place to spend the day! Not to mention the rodeo! I highly recommend you visit this location so you can experience all that the stockyards has to offer

    Gunfight show
    Cassie P.

A fun section of the Stockyards that has some shops and some restaurants- and of course a "general store". On Saturdays & Sundays there is a "gun fight show" twice a day here- and while very campy, it was fun to watch. Also an antique train goes through the station and you can ride it around the Stockyards. Random fact: Stop in the sports store for a delicious wine slushee.

I came here while on vacation. Everything was nice. It was a neat experience. Tons of shops to walk through, places to eat, and entertainment!

I stopped here during a recent work trip and it was a nice place to spend a couple of hours. I walked around a bit, stopped in a few stores for souvenirs, watched the cattle walk down the street and wrapped it up with some BBQ for lunch.

I spent about 10 mins trying all the different things our tour guide asked me to practice. I pickled it up very easily. Everyone did so as well. Anyone can ride segways. I wish we had more segways all over the country. Tour started off in the downtown Fort Worth area. We stopped at many historic destinations along the way. Tour guide was very funny and very knowledgeable. My favorite part was by the riverside. Absolutely gorgeous weather to ride Segways and made our trip even more memorable with lots of great pics. Our tour guide took some incredible pics of us. Highly recommend this experience if you're trying to do something cool and fun.

When I showed up and found the place closed, I called to check, and Tim kindly agreed to give me a tour even though I was the only guest. He made sure I felt comfortable throughout and kept the experience engaging with local history and stories. We cruised around the Trinity Garden, which ended up being one of my favorite parts. On top of that, he shared fantastic restaurant recommendations. It felt more like exploring the city with a friend than a formal tour. Huge thanks to Tim for making it such a memorable experience. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something unique and enjoyable!
