The best thing is how unbelievably fast it was to get an oil change without an appointment. 20 minutes and they helped me out by offering additional services. After getting my approval, they put on new windshield wiper blades, cabin filter, and an air filter for the motor. The prices were quoted to me and they showed me the old dirty filters. Best of all the mechanics noticed my vehicle had a leaking rubber boot at the axle area. Which was great timing since my vehicle is within warranty and I can have the repair done free of charge at the dealership. I had called another shop about an oil change and they told me my car would have to be dropped off and I could pick it up in six hours. What a joke, no way. I've been coming to this shop for several months for oil changes and had always trusted them--until…read morenow. On my most recent visit, I asked if they could help replace the battery in my Volvo key fob, which wasn't working. I handed it directly to the person at the front desk. It wasn't damaged--just likely had a dead battery. But when they returned it to me, not only was the battery still dead, but the entire key fob was broken. I later had it inspected at a Volvo dealership, and they confirmed the internal components were cracked and beyond repair. The replacement cost? $850. I emailed the shop to explain everything and got no response at all. When I followed up by phone, I was told, "Well, we tried to help you," instead of taking any responsibility. No apology. No accountability. And frankly, no care. As someone who had been a repeat customer, I expected better. If your vehicle has a specialized or sensitive key fob--especially a Volvo--I highly suggest you go somewhere else. They clearly weren't qualified to handle it, and now I'm left with an expensive problem and zero support.

A week later, I'm still keyless with no appointment, no update, and no accountability. I even spoke with Derek, the district manager, and somehow nothing has been resolved. What makes this even worse is that the mechanic who last had my key quit, and apparently he was the last person who had it. So now the key is just gone and no one there seems to know anything about it. And every time I call, they tell me they'll "take my number and call me back." I've given them my information multiple times and no one ever calls back. One time when I called, the assistant manager literally laughed after I told her that they had already taken my information multiple times and promised to call me back before. After laughing, she still said, "Let me get your information and someone will get to you," like that hasn't already happened several times. The crazy part is this should be a simple fix. Cutting and programming a key takes maybe 30 minutes, yet here we are almost two months later and I still don't have a key. And to top it all off, the only reason they even had my key in the first place was because I went in for an alignment. I waited there for about an hour, only to be told they couldn't even do the alignment and that I had to leave. So not only did they waste my time, they lost my key in the process. I showed up because I was told I could get an alignment the same day within about an hour. Instead, I left with no alignment and somehow without my key. Two months later and I'm still dealing with a problem they caused. Completely unacceptable.
