Was in town for a concert and before heading back home my friend and I wanted to grab breakfast…read more We decided on this location because it was close to our hotel. We were a little confused as we were driving and following GPS directions. We were close to the establishment but what we were seeing was an airport. Come to find out that the restaurant is at the airport. We walked in and noticed a buffet and we were told to choose anywhere we'd like to sit. The restaurant has a cute decor and I loved the large windows where you can see the planes take off. The buffet had eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, cheesy potatoes, pancakes and they also had a few sweet pastries. I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. It was the perfect amount on flavor for me. My friend thought it was a bit bland but I thought it was perfect. My most favorite thing was the cheesy potatoes. They were sooo good! Hash browns loaded with cheese!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Coffee was strong and service was good. Breakfast buffet was affordable too. If you are looking for a no frills breakfast then this is the place for you. Really wish I was closer. I could see myself being a regular.

I said but you only get one side. She said no, it comes with 2 sides. So I ordered it. My daughter ordered a $12.00 hamburger and they charged us extra for cheese and the tomato. With $3.00 addeded for use of a debit card. what should have been a $30 meal turned out to be $43.00. When I questioned the bill, the specials sign was gone. This is the 3rd time we had pricing issues. That was our last time we go there.

Best place to get drinks with food as far as downtown Decatur. Coney McKane's has things like…read moreburgers and hot dogs as well as some fancier items. It also has a few options for vegetarians. A kind of cramped place so it always has a crowd. The prices aren't that bad for the quality and service. A lack of fancier restaurants around here in a town that mostly has chains. It's more of a kind of classier sports bar and grill. The atmosphere is pretty good because it's one of the few happening places around here. A place where one can watch a game and get craft cocktails as well as well cooked burgers. There's also plenty of meal sized salads for healthier options. It's about $12 for a basic cocktail. They have a pretty okay amount of spirits including whiskeys. It's about $10 for an Impossible Burger. We got these and had to choose our toppings. Also these come with a side such as fries. Pretty good amount of food for an okay price. Among the other items on the menu is fish. They have plenty of burgers as well as Po Boy sandwiches. Also there's soups and plenty of shareable appetizers. They also have desserts such as pie. For sure it's one of the nicer restaurants in the area. It's closed Sundays and Mondays. There's lots of meaty options and some things for vegetarians.

Interesting place. Definitely worth our stop passing through here. It's a barbecue smokehouse in…read moresomeone's actual house! They do a bustling business. The food is actually very good. They put together some really well crafted sandwiches that we felt to have been a reflection of the care of putting together each recipe. The fries were really good, nice, crispy, seasoned well and HOT! The Cole Slaw was excellent on the sandwiches, but as a stand alone side, not so great, just average. It's more than just casual. When we were there, and I assume this to be the usual, there were no non-disposable utensils or plates. The place is cramped, and only one table (2 two-seaters pushed together. Everything else were booths, and on the small side to accommodate the limited space no doubt. The kitchen is right at the tables, and the entire place is a bit (actually a lot) crowded. They do a bustling take out business though. That was evident. So I think that would be reflective of how good the food is. The reviewer who gave it one dollar sign to reflect price, failed us. Three of us, three sandwiches, two fries and one cole slaw, with three small fountain drinks, yet it was over $60. I cannot give my usual highly descriptive, wifey assisted review, but she's with me writing this. We've already left and I got no pictures! Just one of those days where you're in a rush.
