Stix-N-Stonz has become my go to place for metaphysical supplies in the Louisville area. It is a small shop, but it is packed with so much. I originally came to shop crystals, but my journey has been evolving. As I grow and seek more, they have continued to have just what I am looking for. There are books available, tarot and oracle cards. A fantastic selection of crystals and stones. I found that they also have an excellent selection of incense, and resin incense. The prices are great too. Matthew has been very helpful every time I have been in as well. He also has a great sense of humor. Ask him about the Nirvana incense. You won't be disappointed! I also recently realized they have a small parking area on the side of the building if you don't want to pay for street parking. Love making the trip out from Oldham County. Great little shop full of mystical and magical items. There are all the stones you like. Want a bit of Rose Quartz for love, they have it. How about a Grossularite for prosperity, yup! There is Sage to cleanse your space, crystal balls, pendants and so much more. I have driven past this shop for years wondering what was inside and only recently went in. This shop holds a lot of items! It's somewhat overwhelming but we were well greeted and had we needed something specific, we'd been offered help to find it. I also recommended searching their website. It's nicely organized for web visitors. My main interest is in crystals. I don't think I've seen so many options. Several tumbled stones were $3 and others were priced by size. The shop also has several large amethysts. Beautiful! Street parking in the neighborhood is available. I am in love with this place. A nice cozy house off of Bardstown Road behind Havana Rumba. The owner, Lisa, is absolutely amazing. She was so patient with us and helped guide us through what we were looking for. For example, we were liking for stones that were for abundance. She told us to go to the table that the stones were, close our eyes, and when we open them go to whatever is drawing us. It was so weird that the the one I was drawn to, Fancy Jasper, was just what I needed. I brought my mom back the next day and she told her the same thing. Lisa looked up the meanings for us and answered whatever questions we had. She been told us how to cleanse our crystals from anything that may have had them before. She even gave us some fresh sage to take home. She is an amazing person. In the picture is just 5 of the stones I bought. Some were just $3 each but others were a little more pricey. They all have different purposes and I love it. I even bought some cleansing bath stuff, a crystal charm, incense, and a love powder. I also got a charm to hold our crystals along with a chain to put them on. I'm sure I bought something else that I can't remember. I was so enthralled with this place. This is my jam. Love the workers, whoever Lisa the owner hires is always handpicked and valuable. They know the stones and I've caught them studying stones too! The guy Shawn is so kind and has such good input on... everything. He's just a kind soul, great energy, good outlook, really has the ability to help others. I hope he stays there for a while. Lisa's great. She will find you whatever you need, look for the real thing, tell you she can't get it, finds very rare stuff, let's you know if she's going to put certain things out soon (ie Christmas time, Valentine's Day). She also does readings and can make you specific concoctions. The stones here are expensive but you never have to question "is this realllllly....?" Like I have at natural mystic. I love this place. The vibe. Always got new stuff on the turn table so when you stop in, you're not seeing repeats constantly. Smells wonderful, peaceful music. At the register they will write down all the stones you purchased so you can remember their names to research. Also have books you can use to look up stones as you shop. I came in looking for some gifts for coworkers who were starting new business ventures ... and the woman working had zero knowledge of any crystal usage and/or their meanings/purposes. This was always a great store to buy things at for me but today I went in with my boyfriend after lunch to look at tarot cards after wanting a new deck and while I was looking at them I was also admiring other product in their store. The lady at the counter then came into the room we were in and as I was looking at something I was interested in she said "not for sale" twice within seconds and I immediately put it down once I realized and apologized. She then continued to stand in the room with us, starring at us. I then was feeling very uncomfortable so I told my partner that if he was ready to leave then we can, since they didn't have any cards I was interested in. With him feeling very uncomfortable, he was ready to leave. So as we're walking out the lady says "I hope you got what you wanted" so we both stopped and asked what she had said, very confused. Once she repeated herself we both continued leaving with confusion. Once we walked out she locked the door at 3pm; my partner and I looked at each other with confusion and discussion how strange that was while we were walking to our car. I then eventually looked back at the store as the lady was out in front of the store watching us. I made a comment to my boyfriend and as we drove away she didn't take her eyes off us. She obviously thought we were stealing which we were not, that is very much against my morals. I very much enjoy every time I go into that store and today I was just very disappointed with my visit. Great little store with constantly changing stock. I went for the first time yesterday for some crystals and I will be back. If you're like me and you need to see and feel your materials before going in, go here. There's a wide variety in a small space and the owner is so knowledgable and attentive to detail. The first time I went in it was nice but they didn't know much about the products they had. The second time they said they needed all my identification for my service dog which is illegal and they said that they needed identification because my service dog was "too big"... For a spiritual store that revolves around vibes, sending a bad unwelcome vibe is not the way to get business.... I left crying and shaking because they sent me into a severe panic attack. So if you have a service dog don't go here, even tho they legally can go here they definitely aren't welcome. There is also a really amazing shop not too far from it that is better priced and welcomes service dogs with open arms. read more

This place is really cool. Lisa is great. I experienced my first Reiki session and it was a really rewarding experience.

The shop has overall cool items that can be harder to find locally but there is a huge problem with this shop. You walk in and the energy is just bad. It's uncomfortable and just feels so bad. You have to consider where your crystals and other energy releasing products are coming from. Do you really want crystals from this environment? It's different from everyone but still, these workers, not all but most of them, always assume I'm stealing and always give off the most hostile energy. I really hate to bash on a local business like this but they also are horrible to their some of their employees. I had a friend who worked there and the owner was refusing to pay, switching up their agreements, shaming her for wearing jean shorts to work (after saying it was fine to wear and her shorts were fine in length and appropriateness). She didn't even end up paying my friend everything she deserved. I just wish people with good energy owned this place. I personally do not enjoy going there because of the energy and knowing how the workers are treated. read more
