I had written instructions on how I wanted it centered and had the top marked with a pink thread on the patch. They ignored it and centered it differently and it's crooked - no surprise. And the sewing is beginner level that I could do at home - long stitch, short stitch, up on patch edge, hard right turn into patch, threads coming undone on the backside. Crazy. Then he gave me a big eye roll when I complained and he just said it was difficult to do! Tell me that when I first asked. $22 for a homemade looking job. And it looks like they glued it on, so my latch is ruined if I try to redo it. Awful skill. Awful service. I won't ever go back

She does get backed up so if you are in a hurry, especially for less involved items that require less skill, you could try elsewhere. I have never had a problem with Kristina's meeting promised times and she has even rushed items once or twice.

The last few times I have had work done here it was never ready when scheduled. Last year I waited six weeks for alterations to a vintage shirt. The owner "lost it" and didn't tell me for several weeks. Eventually she found it and did the work. Six weeks ago I dropped off a shirt for alterations. Three times I went to pick it up and each time she said it would be "ready next week." I called today and it was not done. When I tried to ask when it would be done the owner became upset and told me I was "making her feel bad." I picked up the shirt and will have the work done elsewhere. I don't think the staff are able to handle the volume of work they have and are unable to be frank with customers about when to expect it will be complete. I will no longer use their services as I am not confident the work will be completed on time. This is nerve-wracking if the items are needed for a particular event. Unfortunate as their work is excellent when it's done - but of no value when a customer can't depend on it to be ready when scheduled. They want to provide good service but should not commit to work they cannot handle.

"I don't want to shake your hand" (caught himself before the complete "N" word came out). As I walked out, he threw several magazines off the counter.
