As this has happen a few times now I decided to have the dress in question dry cleaned. Bright Wash cleaners sorted it no problem, when it came back to me there was ne'er a stain in sight. It was a same day clean so I was able to collect the dress promptly and wear it that evening which was cool too. They also offer a duvet cleaning service, which I really need to make use of, as it's something I always end up forgetting to clean! As well as that they've a deal of four garments for £14, which is pretty good, as well as an ironing service and some other good deals. All in all, pretty good!

I got married in March 2015 and I left it a good 9 months before even thinking about getting my dress cleaned. My dress was absolutely filthy and had so many layers and detail too it, I was worried the stains wouldn't come out. Amir was very friendly and advised me that some of the stains may be difficult to remove. I was confident he knew what he was talking about and he took the time to go through the cleaning process with me. He never once pushed any prices/extra things onto me. Within a week or so I got a call to say my dress was ready to collect at anytime. Amir again took the time to show me my dress, it looked as good as new. All stains had been removed and I was amazed by the great care he'd taken. Massively irritating…read more The worst thing about these dry clean garments is that they are usually the most expensive ones. So, you spend £100 or so on a garment, and then you need to spend more each time you use it! For the most part, I try to get away with washing them as usual. But there are those stubborn items which just need to be dry cleaned. So, having finally become decadent enough to own some of these items, I decided to have them dry cleaned. My Mum was staying and she offered to drop them off at Johnsons - I think mostly for the novelty of the fact that it is a drive through dry cleaners! It could not have been more simple. She dropped them in, and the friendly lady processed the order and said that they would be ready the next day. Simple as that, the next day she went to collect them and they were as good as new! I suppose the only criticism would be that it is (obviously) easier for car owners to get to, but it is at least on the main Headingley bus route. Other than that, good prices, good efficient service, job done!
