There's a couple of shops inside like a physiotherapist, a real estate agency, a German bakery, a greengrocers, nothing very exciting or out of the ordinary but the arcade is beautifully decorated with heaps of plants on the sides and hanging from the glass rooftop. Walking through here reminded me a bit of being in Disneyland or in some sort of fairyland because everything appears very little and cute. Worth having a quick peak if you're ever in Stirling. Even if the shops don't interest you that much.

I had a really great chat with the lady behind the counter who's name I didn't catch and it was a pleasure to browse amongst the clothing. There are some wonderful pieces in here for anyone who wants something different. I found a colourful cotton long top the type worn over leggings and need to go back and try it on. Various styles are stocked from casual to formal and from basic black to multi coloured. The prices are reasonable and when they do have sales they are even better value. Sizes vary from sizes 8 - 26 which doesn't exclude anyone from their store. Audre Lynx Apparel is open 6 days a week and every fourth Sunday of the month coinciding with the Stirling Market 10am - 4pm. Keep up the good work!

Staff are always friendly and very helpful and prices are reasonable - keep an eye out for reduced items - they are great value. Recently freshened up with paint and new flooring giving the shop a great new look.

I didn't even know it was a chain until just now and sure, while they have some nice clothing on the website, I can't say I've ever seen any of it in the Aldgate outlet .... It's a small shop, but it will take a while to browse through all the items because they are all so neatly crammed together. It's like a drama teachers dream, beret's and beads, green over shirts, strange bird feather vests... I wouldn't take my mum shopping in here although I just asked her what she thought and she said "there are some nice items in there" which got me a little bit worried because usually she has style, a different style anyhow. The staff are very friendly, good for a chat about the weather and to find out how much that delightful orange taffeta dress in the corner window is....

This is such a heart warmingly beautiful children's clothing shop, with many just as beautiful items of clothing. The colours are subtle and has good mood lighting, no nasty fluros. Unfortunately my child has outgrown this size by several years so I won't be making any purchases today but who knows there's always room for more in regards to relatives. The owner sources Australian name brands and also ventures further afield overseas to France, New Zealand and off the mainland to Tasmania. She searches for and acquires quality, organic certified cotton and merino wool made products. There is also a trend towards transforming cuts of vintage fabric into other clothing creations and is included in this store, the feel of soft old cotton brings back memories. Boys are not excluded from the collection as there is a good choice in store, plus lots of soft toys, accessories for girls, socks and shoes. It's located in the mall leading to the Woolworths supermarket and even if your kids are too old or you don't have any children, it's worth a browse simply for its looks.

Hills Discount is quite an anonymous little shop in Stirling despite the fact it's the only cheap…read moreshop in this region. I don't know the history of it as it's either new and not listed just yet or they prefer to stay out of print. Whatever the case it's as I mentioned the only cheap shop around and there is a reasonable mix of stuff you'd expect to find. I asked the Chinese / Vietnamese man behind the counter if they stocked any solar powered lanterns and they didn't, but there are quite a few others which are battery operated or the plain simple decorative ones hanging about. A few kitchen utensils on the side wall and lots of things everywhere I looked, even the man was almost camoflaged. Anyway, it's good it does exist and just across the way from Matilda Books.

If you're young, he may be a little cold towards you and follow you 'discreetly' around the store pretending to rearrange things. This is because so many young Stirling kids used to come here and steal his wares and now he's slightly, justifiably paranoid. I came here just the other day because I needed fake money for a dress up party, the party store across the road didn't have it but Hills Discount didn't disappoint. Basically you will find everything a $2 shop might stock, only some of it has a weird asian twist like the little fighting wooden toys.

A Pure Discount doesn't promise to be anything other than cheap, crappy merchandise, and boy does it deliver. We used to come here as kids all the time to buy cap guns, water pistols, water balloons, and cheesey cigarette lighters. I have a particular reverence for the place, considering the guy behind the counter barely speaks a word of English even though he's been in that same shop for about 20 years, and for the general insanity of the store. Inside it's dank and stacked to the brim with kettles that look sure to burn your house down when you're not looking and hilarious knock offs of famous toy brands. Outside is a really attractive display of colour from the plush toys, umbrellas and spinning rainbow flowers that serve no purpose other than to sell themselves. There are plenty of things you can buy in the store that would are perfectly suitable for their use, like cheap mugs, cutlery, costume pieces and simple kids toys, but overall this store is comically bogus.
