Not sure about their wings, but they always have me salivating. Slim pickings on fountain drinks, but then again it's not Maverik. For Cascade, it ain't bad. Harpos is a classic, cool, much appreciated gas station. Whatever you need, they'll likely have. Decent bathrooms. Lots of room for big rigs.

We camped a little outside of town and we decided to treat ourselves by going into town for breakfast instead of eating the same thing we had been all week. The first place we saw in town was Howdy's and we meant to only go in to get a few items to restock and then go to a diner for breakfast. However, that all changed once we went in. I look over and I see the employees actually dredging fresh chicken in flour and egg wash for the fryer. I have eaten a lot of gas station fried chicken, but I have never had gas station fried chicken like this. Usually it has just been sent there frozen and either nuked or just quickly refried. This was real deal, freshly fried chicken and it was excellent. Hands down the best gas station fried chicken I've ever had. The store itself is also huge. It is more of a market than a gas station and has pretty much everything you need to restock on a bike trip.
