Walmart quality frames, and poor customer service. Maybe try rib eye center or even Walmart. Very disappointed and must now pay hundreds more because they are unreasonable and unprofessional. Not to mention the arrogant, pretentious, attitude. Maybe I was an outlier, but if you're looking for a new eye doctor I would not recommend Eyecare Center of Wausau.

If you want to chat and get personal and know your doctor, then perhaps try somewhere else. The doctor was courteous and kind but asked me maybe a total of four questions throughout my exam (only one of which was non-eye related). I can't remember his name, nor do I know anything about him (except that he's from Wausau and is an eye doctor). Again, the service wasn't bad, but I just don't know if I would recommend it. P. S. The girl who works front office, answers phones and helped me out before and after my exam was amazing! Such a sweet spirit and never annoyed with my many questions.

My family will have to find a provider who does. :(

When questioned, VanSykes said it was within range even though on X-rays, it's obvious. Next, I was offered a 'free' tooth mold for veneers if I would have chosen to get them. When I decided not to, they charged me $395 for the mold. I mentioned it to the dentist that he, himself said they were free, and he denied. Then I overpaid one of my procedures by $250, they didn't tell me that I had a credit and when I accidentally found out by from one of the billing folks, they were not going to give it back in case one of my next procedures was not paid. I have insurance and always paid everything on time. Their billing department was incompetent for submitting claims to my insurance and I had to call them many times just to get them to submit the claims properly. Recommend to find somewhere else and be aware of a huge amount of great reviews, not sure how they got them.
