When you say you are buying them online- because they are cheaper, you get treated with big attitudes like you are no longer good enough. It's clear if you go here, that you are just a number so they can milk you for everything in your wallet & then push you out the door. Avoid and save yourself the hassle. My husband had shingles and was close to his eye, so the Weston clinic wanted him to see an eye doctor that day. We got there, tried to get into the building and noticed it was closed on Saturday's. Our appointment was at 11:00 and we thought was this right. But we had the paper that Weston clinic gave us for address, time and eye doctor. So, we waited for a little while thinking that he would come at any time. While we were sitting there, we noticed that there was a girl in the office on a computer. We thought well she probably knows what's going on and would let us in till Dr Marquart got there. Well, she wrote on a piece of paper that they were closed, and I tried to tell her that we had an appointment. She couldn't hear so with my hand I said forget it. We waited for a little longer and a car pulled up behind us and wanted us to roll down our window then proceeded to tell they were closed. I was tried to tell them that we had an appointment. But they wouldn't listen. They proceed to ask why we are sitting in our truck watching the girl that was on the computer in the office, again we tried to explain that we had an appointment. They started swearing at us and calling us every name under the sun, they were also videoing us. We then went back to the Weston clinic to see what was up. By this time, we were both pretty upset. Come to find out the appointment was at 11:15 instead of 11:00. So, we went back to the eye doctor. The girl let us in and said how sorry she was. I said the damage was done. I asked her why she didn't just call the cops instead of her family as the cops are trained to be calmer. She had nothing to say. If I were in her shoes, I would have been scared also. But couldn't you have shut the blinds and call the cops instead of family. Then we all could have known what was going on. Also, the lack of communication between the eye doctor and the girl in the office, to let her know that we were going to be there. I want an apology from that girl's family that harassed us. You know who you are!

The girl who works front office, answers phones and helped me out before and after my exam was amazing! Such a sweet spirit and never annoyed with my many questions.

After the whole thing was done, the representative put me on hold then came back and told me that they only take NVA insurance and they don't take my vision insurance. He should have told me that when I told him what insurance I had at the very beginning of the phone call. I work long hours and only had a few minutes to try to schedule an appointment today and I wasted it on this phone call.

If it gets worse and I lose my eye sight in that eye, I will sue them. Hopefully I can find a place that actually understands that some people don't have a lot of money.

A different employee helped her and was very courteous to her. As I listened to the advice he was giving her, I realized I was ignored. Pricy merchandise so I bought a cool skeleton sticker for a souvenir. They have rentals and a shop to make any adjustments or repair on your gear. I had my bindings snap so the technician was able To help with a temporary fix. Plan ahead for a busy day. Food In the lodge cafeteria was decent. They were out of cheese curds that day so they had some cheese triangles that look like Makeshift cheese curds. If you're hungry everything tastes great! Typical of resorts, food is mid to high priced so you can bring your own food if you want to save money. They also have a restaurant for other food and drink options. Parking lot was close by so you can walk to your car not too far even on a busy day. They offer a 3 day flex pass you can use conveniently anytime during the season at any of the three resorts: Granite Peak, Luften, and Snow River for a decent price and if add an extra day it's $69.99 or $70. Lifts are fast so be careful Getting off the lift! Nice view of Wausau at the top! Of the hill!
