It was lobster season in Stockholm so I couldn't help but order some seafood. The food was really really good. The cheese was selected by the chef and he did not disappoint, giving us a nice variety of cheeses as well as jams/dried fruits to compliment to strong flavors. My mussels were probably the biggest portion I've ever ordered. The sauce was amazing and the fries were unbeatable. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone in the area.

And get the French butter. I love the ICA fruit Museli and will take several package home. I wish the US sold filmolk but kevir is almost as good on the Museli. . I did not find Felix mango curry sauce. That has a mayonnaise consistency and is delicious on sandwiches or to dip in. Had to go to Hemkoff for that. Some stores require that you scan your receipt to exit. This store does not. That is a plus when you are either just looking or didn't find what you want. You likely will find nearly anything you want here. And checkout their bakery doughnuts. What a neat way of displaying them.

When here in September, there were tons of fresh chanterelle mushrooms and I would have loved to have cooked with them. Alas, I was happy to get my souvenirs with my favorites being the pearl sugar (500g for less than $2) and mustard chipotle, a condiment I tried in Skansen with my lamb sausage. Although ICAs are located throughout the city, each store is slightly different in size and products that they carry.

The portions were also very generous, so we would recommend having only a single scoop of ice cream - you have the option of having two flavours in one scoop. Two scoops comes to just under £5, which sounds a lot, but it is a lot of ice cream (and would be far too much for a child). As well as the traditional cones, you can have small cartons. They also do ice cream to take away. A nice touch is that you can have a small taste before you decide which ice cream you want to buy.

If you're a beet lover, you will definitely like the beetroot. There were also actual pieces of beets in it resulting in an interesting sorbet texture. The first impression of the sea salt olive oil ice cream was a creamy vanilla with a hint of salt but as you savour it, you can taste the delicate olive flavour within Thankfully, they are super generous with their scoops yummy ice cream (see photo). Just can't get enough. StikkiNikki is so good! Must try when in Stockholm. Highly recommended.

Originally founded in 1920 by Helga Södermark, another Konditori like Vete-Katten built by a female that has grown into an institution with time, Tössebageriet resides at Karlavägen 77 where it has served locals for nearly one hundred years, the menu rare to change save for seasonal items such as the supposed best-in-Stockholm Semla served during the holidays. Open weekdays at 7am and two hours later Saturday or Sunday, seating areas inside and out rarely with an open space during early hours and around lunch, it was shortly after entry that a two-top against the far wall became free, six items plated by a young lady at costs lower than Mr. Cake joined by freely-refillable Coffee and tasting started off by a Cardamom Bun indistinguishable from the one Ljungberg offers at his newer Bakery. Further showing evidence of connections to Mr. Cake with a Doughnut served upright, the name Manadens Bulle used to describe Dough centered by Strawberry Jam, it was only in Tössebageriet's Katalan that quality dropped off, the base too dense and dry beneath only a bit of Raspberries and Frosting. Returning to form with a traditional Tosca, Sugar- shellacked Almonds sliced thin atop buttery Cake, it was in a Budapest Cake packed with Raspberries that Tössebageriet shined brightest, each bite of airy Cream and Meringue slightly different from the one prior while a round Chokladboll was equally heterogenous but densely packed in Oats and Coconut Flakes.

Indoor seating and outdoor seating with blankets was available. Minutes later, an employee brought an incorrect food to us, so I pointed it out, and he later brought the correct foods. The chocolate specks tasted artificial and if anything like cheap Hershey's. Eh....I should've known better when I sampled the Caribbean chocolate and it didn't blow my mind. Just too watered down! I was so disappointed I threw the ice cream away after 3 bites instead of gorging the rest of the calories =/. Not even the waffle cone texture was appealing to me.
