The owner, who knew my grandparents, wasn't around anymore, but the bartender had some good stories about him. The bartender and the customers were friendly and sociable, I met two guys that I spoke about current events with. They had a jukebox going, and played classic hits that I loved. Honestly, I had a pretty good experience and would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to just relax at the end of the day.

They have 8 beers on tap and also carry special bottles in a fridge. The bar only seats about 10 people along with some indoor seating but the majority is outside where the benches are. I usually answer with one or two I'm frequenting more often in the current time period. When it comes down to it, I can solidly say Deli Planet is in the permanent Top Three. This year, I have been dining with Deli Planet for 40 years. Now with that being said, Deli Planet is truly my number one. I have eaten with no other that long (in the Falls). First as 'Subs n Subs' then Deli Planet. The consistent thing has been Eric Rutledge. He's been serving me since my first visit in 1986. Bob did an awesome job with hiring this guy. All the employees over the years have been fantastic and have always treated me like family. Always greeted with hugs and smiles. The one big change in all the years that turned this place into a powerhouse business is when Eric married Becca and this true power couple became one. Legends in the local restaurant business! The food always top-notch and very consistent from visit to visit. The place is always clean. All the employees seem to really enjoy their working here, which translate to a great atmosphere. I really love dining here and reflect back fondly on all that have crossed my path while dining here. Especially when I think back to all those that this place gave me a permanent friend like Samantha Ellis Stanley. Pizzas cost $10 each and we ordered six pizzas. Grand total $180 for the two hours at this place. Everyone was nice, very accommodating. The pizzas did not taste fresh like they were frozen in a box and just reheated for us. They have three options, pork sausage, cheese, and pepperoni. We have people in a group that do not eat pork, so we ended up getting some extra cheeses. I decorated and even cleaned the tables afterwards so that the new people could come for the next party. My son said he had a great time with his friends and that's what mattered the most. This place has chairs fallen apart with the stuffing coming out, really dark atmosphere. There aren't and Lysol wipes, or cleaning supplies to wipe off the equipment laying around. It still has the grungy Deep End vibe that it had at the previous location, especially in the bathroom. We came, We saw, we conquered and that's all that mattered. They also have multiple events throughout the year such as drag shows, music events, etc..
