There were alpacas - couldn't touch them that day, there was a pot belly pig, lots of goats, one cow and 2 horses. The tour consisted of more walking around the farm than learning. I'm sorry - I just thought for the amount of time it took to get there and at 20$ per person it would be more informative.

I also noticed a fire-pit and I'd like to bring my grandkids, let them pick flowers, and then spend time relaxing with a picnic lunch or dinner and roast some marshmallows over the fire. The way it works is you scan the QR code, pick up a cup, fill with water, and grab cutters. You can walk up and down the aisles that have various flowers blooming and pick any you like. If you don't have time to pick, there is a grab and go bouquet in the stand. They are open dawn to dusk April - October. I attended a Christmas in July party this past weekend and we were asked to bring a gift from a local vendor. I brought a gift certificate. The person who opened it didn't want to tell anyone what it was for fear it would be stolen! She wanted it for herself. While planning our trip to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, we came across this opportunity, and I…read morewas adamant that we must do it! :) The location is a bit off the beaten path - approximately a 45 minute drive from Pigeon Forge. Upon arrival, the llamas and two alpacas were ready to socialize. We brought some oatmeal cookies for them to snack on. (See the website for their favorite snacks.) It was so much fun to give them treats, pet them, and start to learn their personalities. When we were ready to hike, we were able to choose which llama to walk with. Oscar was my hiking companion, and my husband took Walker. We had about 8-10 total hiking. Even though it started raining, we still had a great time. The llamas graze along the trail, so this is not a fast-paced hike. Steve, the owner of the farm and our guide, shared stories and information along the trail. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking them out. I haven't stopped talking about it since we did it, and I love going back and looking through my pictures. My husband and I visited with our two young kids and had so much fun. We got to visit with the animals, learn about the property, and help feed the baby goats!
