S pass driving school was recommended to me by a family friend, but after my negative experience with the previous driving school I was wary. My first contact with S Pass Driving School was positive as the receptionist was so nice and accommodating. I had to make a schedule change last minute and she was able to squeeze me in. I first met David who was very thorough and easy to make conversation with. My remaining lessons were Angie and she was extremely thorough. We would go over the same intersections until I felt completely ready. I gained so much confidence with them, and we went over ALL the test points (even scanning intersections before entering them which i had no idea about!). I really didn't think I'd ever pass after taking so many lessons and feeling defeated. My 3 lessons with S Pass driving school fueled my confidence, I'm now licensed thanks to them!! I was very unfamiliar with the El Monte area (where I took my test), but I was able to pass with 3 lessons and no additional practice in the area because of how observant they are during the lessons. They are extremely thorough and their business is so organized compared to others I've encountered. The entire team is so nice and friendly. I just gave a call, was texted dates and times of my appointments, and the driving instructor would arrive. Derek is straightforward! If there's room for improvement or you make an error, he'll tell it as it is. He kept saying little gas, more gas, no gas within the same 5 seconds, giving confusing signals, and blaming me adding gas while my foot was not even on the padel... He never actually looked at what ur doing but just arrogantly thinking he knows you the best. When you asked him what mistake you made and how to fix the problem, he never able to teach u the right way. Instead he'll just say, ' just take more lessons and you'll be better.' I enrolled to a different traffic school that year for months and was frustrated because ive been failing my actual driving test. I failed 3 times So my ex bf who is now my hubby enrolled me to a different traffic school nearby his apartment. He said he's one of the best.. Sooooo I met Zoren who was my driving instructor and only taught me for 2 hours before my actual driving test, he's so nice and funny because he's Armenian and knows how to speak a little bit of Tagalog.
