This was my first time at one of these events and perhaps I had some misconceptions of what would happen. I hit several different drivers and irons but generally hit the clubs that they initially started me on. It was as though they had predetermined what was going to be the best fit for me before I even hit a club. The odd thing is that I spoke with some others who had attended the event and they seemed to have had the same line of clubs recommended to them. It felt as though I had paid money to be sold a product instead of finding out what was best for me. If the event had been free I wouldn't have a complaint but I did pay money for a fitting, not a manufacturers product promotion. In particular the driver that they fit me in had an upcharge shaft which they didn't bother to tell me about until after my fitting was done. Had I known that, I would have wanted to test that club with a standard shaft. I don't want to spend $750 on a single club. I think that I would have a better opinion of their services if they would be upfront about going with premium shafts and cost adders. It may be a completely different experience if you visit their facility, as I said this was at one of their golf course fitting events. My home course pro said that they have a great reputation in the industry, unfortunately I didn't experience this.

Since the start of the pandemic, there has been a spike in the number of women getting interested in golfing and this was their way to welcome us all! As soon as I came in, I was greeted by several team members and they were so helpful. There were several different stations that we could choose from. The PGA TOUR Superstore is the leading experiential golf retailer - golf enthusiasts of all levels can come to the store and practice putting on the green and hitting in the bay, receive an in-house custom club fitting, get their clubs repaired, or take lessons from certified teaching professionals. I needed every bit of this. I never had golf lessons before, so working with a professional was super helpful. It also improved my confidence. Throughout the whole day participants also received 10% off purchases..good deal to me. The endless choices of golf supplies, gear, and equipment was impressive! From there, he was able to see my backswing and my follow through. He exposed a few things that I could improve. After he analyzed my swing with high speed cameras and the most current technology, he advised where to improve. I immediately saw a correction in my swing. I would push the ball left, consistently. From the advice he gave me, now I have a 3 to 5 yard draw and I hit higher and farther. I have never have my 7-iron 190-200 yards until now. This was definitely worth it and I would recommend anyone looking for lessons for advice to visit Jason at GolfTec.

My instructor is Joel. He is a very patient, polite, nice guy. He walks me through what I need to do rather than being critical of what I am doing wrong. The facility is easily accessible, clean, and comfortable. They have an instruction room with really cool technology. Also, they have three practice rooms with the techno stuff. I bought a package of practice sessions so I can go in, with a scheduled time, and practice my shots with the technology that shows my flight path of the ball, distance in flight, and distance from tee with the final rollout on the ball. In real life, out on the course, I have reduced my score by 5-8 strokes, am hitting greens on par 3s, and driving the ball further and straighter. My approach shots are more accurate and chipping is lots better. I am headed to FL for the winter where I will have many chances to use my new found skills. Bob C

I said yes and brushed off the cobwebs from my golf bag and went to meet them in North Carmel. They have 6-8 large screens where you tee up a ball and swing away at a ball towards the screen. It's pretty realistic. You can play different courses under different weather conditions. The chipping and putting took a couple of holes to get used to. There is a full bar and good beer on tap choices which was fun. The woman who were running the place were very helpful and accommodating. I liked being able to sit and talk with the other golfers while we were golfing which is different when you play real golf. I liked it better than TopGolf because you played your whole game and it was indoors in a comfortable environment where you can have a beer. They have leagues and options to play with groups. Would be great for company outing. Strongly recommend.

Top Golf is fun. That's the bottom line. If you want to get a small to medium size crew of people…read moreand simply have a good time, you should add Top Golf to your menu of activities. The greatest thing about Top Golf, in my humble opinion, is that it is so accessible for people who don't golf. I visited before I took up the game of golf, and I've been back several times since I became a scratch (nope, scratch that!) double-par golfer (LOL) and I've had fun every time I've been. And even though I've improved my golf swing, a friend or family member (my sister, Stacy, I'm talking to you!) would crush me at times on the score board with absolutely zero golf experience. Of course, this depends on the game you choose. There are several games with various rules that can either widen or narrow the experience gap. My favorite is the original Top Golf game where you aim for the colored circles. Other games, like Block Party (or maybe "bloc" party) give points for hitting it literally anywhere. I had my best shot of the day to the back net, and scored a fraction of the points an opponent scored for hitting it short and letting it roll. Oh well, what can you do?! The food is pretty good here. And they offer a full bar because what's golf without a strong drink to calm your nerves! I've had the flat bread pizza. Actually, after we finished our round, we went to the restaurant/bar and watched IU smack Oregon so hard it looked like DeChambeau on a Par 5 (mashed potatoes!). Oregon wished they had a mulligan, for sure! I digress. At the bar, I ordered the donut holes and the hot honey pepperoni flatbread pizza. That hot honey was great! The donut holes are good and come with two syringes filled with chocolate or Bavarian cream. There is also a raspberry option, and you can get all three for an extra charge. They give you a lot of little donut balls! Service is pretty good at Top Golf. You can tell they are busy, but the servers do a great job to make it to all the bays. And even when the bar was hopping during the game, our guy kept checking in regularly. The atmosphere is comfortable and chill. They know you are there to relax and unwind and maybe take out a little stress relief on their tiny, dimpled balls. The staff gets you checked in early, answers any questions you may have and will even teach you how to use the ceiling heaters (ours did!). Yes, they have heaters! Each bay has three large heaters in the ceiling you can control independently, so even in the winter, you can swing away. Just no Happy Gilmore approaches! Have fun out there!

The experience kicked off in the best of ways with a very friendly welcome and tour of the space. I was really impressed by how large their building as in how many rooms and classes they were able to host at the same time. they offer a small shopping area three dressing rooms and several different weights to coordinate with different classes. My particular visit was for the hot stretch class which included intense stretching in a heated room for 30 minutes. It seemed that this was just what my body needed after a few days of spin classes. Note that if you do not have a mat, you can rent theirs for two dollars as well as towels and water bottles. I also appreciated that their first sample class was only eight dollars for new customers. Often times the $20 for a first class at other studios makes it a bit too much when you don't know what you're getting into.
