The produce is fantastic and is monitored by the amazing and friendly produce manager, George. The facility is clean; the employees are helpful. While I was in the store holding my emotional support animal, an associate named Cedric aggressively demanded that I present documentation for the dog. When I did not provide it, he raised his voice and threatened to call the police if I did not leave immediately. My dog was restrained in a harness, being held, and causing no disruption. Another employee present at the time apologized for his colleague's behavior. As a veteran managing severe service-related conditions, I found this treatment distressing and unacceptable. Demanding documentation under these circumstances violates policy and regulations regarding service animals & emotional support animals as well. Before taking further legal action regarding this matter, I request that a manager or corporate representative contact me directly to discuss how this situation will be addressed. The half subs are as big as a whole at Jreck's. The meat is high quality and the rolls are soft and tasty. I am going to go as far as saying this is the best sub shop in Watertown. Their meat (chicken breast, ground beef, etc.) is better than what I have found in most groceries stories. The produce is good and you can usually find what you need. They also have a cool assortment of dips and hummus and a tasty spicy tomato oil. Tops carries a good mix of big name brands and local products. You can park incredibly close to the store entrance.
