Bacon-Cheeseburger and Fries
Jason P.

If you're in the area and hungry, take the time to stop in. I was in the mood for a classic American burger and I was not disappointed! The food didn't take long to get to me after it was ordered. The burger was flavorful, juicy, and cool just right. The bun was nice and soft, adding to the flavor of it all. Fries cooked to golden-brown; nice and crunchy. Service was great - felt like I was a native to the area with the hometown feel. Real nice folks and eager to make sure you're taken care of. Zero complaints about this place and hope to be back again sooner than later so I can try their pizza.

Schultz Cheese Curd, fresh from Lowville, NY, just 20 minutes up the road. Yummy!!!

Dear Customer Support, 9-11-2026…read more I am writing to report an incident that occurred on September 11 at approximately 7:30 PM at your Fast Track location on State Street in New York. While I was in the store holding my emotional support animal, an associate named Cedric aggressively demanded that I present documentation for the dog. When I did not provide it, he raised his voice and threatened to call the police if I did not leave immediately. My dog was restrained in a harness, being held, and causing no disruption. Another employee present at the time apologized for his colleague's behavior. As a veteran managing severe service-related conditions, I found this treatment distressing and unacceptable. Demanding documentation under these circumstances violates policy and regulations regarding service animals & emotional support animals as well. Before taking further legal action regarding this matter, I request that a manager or corporate representative contact me directly to discuss how this situation will be addressed. I can be reached at 845-220-0558. Sincerely, Christopher Fitzpatrick

We did head inside to find a tourist item, which is where they were lacking. We later were told that Love's has that kind of thing. They did have other trinkets and toys. The layout of the store was a bit messy, and the way the centre kiosk where the staff are stationed is raised up makes interacting a bit strange. The staff themselves were all quite cheerful and helpful. They have all kinds of food, drinks, and personal items available. It really is a large store. The gas prices were relatively good, which was the main thing. Wouldn't have any hesitation stopping here again.

Stay away from this store…read more Six to eight times now I've had to throw out or return bread that I just bought from there, either the same night or next day. The first time, I was insulted and told that I could have purchased it anywhere. The older man I spoke with grew instantly angry and treated me as though I was some kind of criminal. Eventually I told him I didn't even want a refund, just to calm him down, and to keep a better eye on their products. Another time when taking a frozen sandwhich out of the freezer, the top popped open when I picked it up and it went flying out and onto the floor. I was told that I would have to pay for it. When I told them that I wouldn't pay for a product that could have been partially opened already, defective, or tampered with by a customer, and the supposed, "you break it you buy it" law had no actual teeth, (i.e. was not inforceable) they insisted that I would indeed pay for it. When I asked if they were going to add it to the things I w.as purchasing and they answered yes, I left without buying anything. Out of somewhere between 6 and 8 loafs of moldy bread, I was refunded for none. One day when I was in there, after telling myself that I would never buy it from this shop again, a younger guy began pushing bread on me the moment I walked in. Buy one get one or half off or something like that. It was beyond the sell by date. And there were several moldy loafs. The shady way he was acting also leads me to believe that he was well aware of this and trying to sell as many as he could. After all, they don't give refunds. A couple of days ago, I purchased two chocolate muffins there, along with some other things, which I figured were safer than bread. Upon getting them home, I tried to eat one. The bottom of the first one was very moldy. The second one had a little mold on it. I took it back when I could. I'm not always able to go back the same night or day as I'm disabled. But it was only two days. The two men there said that they would have to call a boss. The man who came was the younger guy who was pushing moldy bread on me that day, about a year ago. And of course, he made every possible excuse. They all looked good, he told me. He suggested that I check the expiration dates before buying them. I said that was on him. An expired product shouldn't be on the shelf. And if it was, that was his fault, not mine. But, these were his excuses for not refunding or even replacing the products. Apparently it is our fault as the consumers, if we're dumb enough to shop at this store, that is. If we buy something there, we'd better tear it open right there at the cash register and check it for mold, bugs, whatever. And even then, if we had already paid, they would probably tell us too bad. The little gas station just down the street is often one of the cheapest in town and has some good stuff. Plus they've never been rude to me in there and I've never once bought anything moldy in that one. This place, however, I'm lucky I haven't had to visit the emergency room yet. Stay away from this one. I wouldn't even buy gas there.
