We were impressed with their high standards, hard work, technical knowledge, creative problem-solving, good humor and timely and respectful approach to the work. Nissen's small team is highly skilled and able to handle varied tasks with minimal subcontracting. They have excellent knowledge of materials, sourcing most supplies locally while ordering several large deck replacement posts from Idaho. Nissen's approach to layout of unusually large and heavy tiles for one shower was ingenious: the team worked out the entire pattern flat on the ground in our yard, moving around different pieces to maximize design flow across tiles before cutting and installing. We are happy with the results and would be pleased to use CM Nissen again!

The awning WAS damaged when one of the workers, while pulling hard to remove the old siding, lost his balance and stepped back off of the platform placed to protect the awning, coming down hard. I am happy with the repair to the repair. Just wish that I had not had to go through the hassle. I have seen other work that they have done nearby and it appears to be well done. I did go to update the review after the repair was made. Apparently that is not something that can be done...at least on a phone.

The quality of the workmanship is amazing, impeccable, detailed and superior to anything I've seen. The house is about 2400 square feet with a beautiful wood cathedral ceiling, window seats accented by a fireplace overlooking the Puget Sound. The house has wooden floors, tiled bathroom, and granite kitchen. Campbell Construction also came in within the estimated budget which I found amazing as I've heard horror stories on custom homes going way over budget. Furthermore, Joe and his team are TRUSTWORTHY! They care about the workmanship, and have good old fashion pride in their work. The subcontractors that Campbell Construction uses are also amazing. Most of them have worked together as a team for years and they complement each other. At times, they behave like spouses as they disagree on the best approach to take - at the end of the day, you benefit from this interaction. Campbell Construction is very reasonable and well known throughout the Olympic Peninsula. I am from California and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor on the Olympic Peninsula.

We had water damage from a downspout leak and ended up replacing everything and adding on projects because we were pleased. Brad does stuff other contractors do not. He stayed to the end of the project and was not at other worksites at the same time. He was able to get to my job quickly which helped us put my mother's house up on the market right away. He works steadily while he is there and takes pride in doing things neatly and correctly. Lastly, Brad sticks to his prices and estimates well. How many times have I gotten an estimate and the price triples? Not here. I was working on the yard while they fixed the house and miss the good that comes from being around honest work.
